You have a choice for fuel -- carbs (glucose) or ketones (fat). Exactly. Low carbs will make your body burn fat for fuel instead of the carbs.

Up your fats and protein and back way down on the carbs...just my opinion and what works for me. We are all different. But all those carbs, especially coming from processed foods are not good for you

Would love to have some friends for support and motivation too. I am doing Atkins, which is almost the same as Keto. Started in Jan. The scale is moving slowly, but at least it's moving in the right direction.

Between dinner and bed time. I'm a nite owl. Not usually in bed til around 1am. I will have a snack, but sometimes I want to eat more than I should. And I know it's mostly boredom not hunger. And hubby is a truck driver so only home every other weekend and I have a hard time then too.

I have a pair of New Balance that are great. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Don't think I will ever buy another brand. I normally wear wide width due to a bunion on one foot and problems with corns on the other. But my New balance are regular width and don't hurt my feet at all.

Mine is Dec. 11th too. My Hubby is a truck driver so he won't be home to celebrate with me. So we will probably wait til the weekend. Not gonna go wild but probably go out to dinner at Red Lobster and I'm going to eat anything I want just for that one meal

I do the flavored ground coffee then use half and half, so I still get that yummy flavor. You can also sprinkle some ground cinnamon in your coffee grounds before brewing to give your coffee a cinnamon flavor
