Great job, Shamrock and StrawberrySuz!!! I have missed 2 more day. I'm sad that I missed the days, but I can assure you it was for a good cause. I have spent the last 2 days at the zoo, enjoying the nice weather with my children.
-
Just for Today: I will forgive the less than great food and applaud the exercise I got walking the zoo with my children over the last couple of days.
-
Love to see all the people here! I have done a ton of walking over the last couple of days. I took my children to the zoo yesterday and today and spent the whole day walking around.
-
That is fantastic. I tend to think the same way. Well done on the 1/2 pound! I love your name, by the way!

I am so sorry that this is late. I had in insanely busy weekend and it just occured to me that June started a week ago. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/623338-june-walking-challenge

Level 1, Day 8: finished, barely Holy Smokes! That was a tough one. I felt sick and woozy through the whole thing. After thinking about it, I have concluded that I haven't had any protein today. I guess tomorrow I will have to either make time to eat or plan better on the run.
-
Just for Today: I will take my vitamins (I feel a cold coming on)

I've never had to shred after working at a job, only chasing my 4 kiddos around, so I can't compare. I can tell you that I have done the shred 3 times before (separated by several months of inactivity in an effort to gaurantee no maintained physical fitness:blushing: not intentionally of course) and I can tell you that…

Start whever and whenever you can. My first time through, I would have quit before completing the warm up if I hadn't started with a group. We're all at different levels and on different days. We would love to have you along. and if you can't even do 1 push up today, maybe by the end of 10 days you will.

So hard to do and, yet, so important. I love your profile picture. That just about sums up what it takes to succeed.
-
Welcome, Dee! I love seeing new faces!
-
Just for Today: I will remember that good habits are easier to keep up with than they are to re-start.

Never walk away from Jillian, she's awefully hard to walk back to. After a weekend away, I finally got back to it this morning. Level 1, Day7? I lost a lot of my momentum skipping 4 days. I may have to go more than 10 days on this level. We shall see. StrawberrySuz, did you try Level 2 with better shoes? How was it?
-
Just for Today: I will laugh, they say that it's the best medicine.
-
Oh, My Dears. I don't want you to think that I have given up on this group. I have had a stomach bug going through my family (including me) and have been in no condition to face Jillian. I will be back on track tomorrow.
-
Just for Today: I will pick myself up, dust myself off, and throw myself back in the game.
-
Just for Today: I will not get discouraged looking at how far I have to go. I will look at how far I have come and feel joy!

Level 1, Day 6: finished

I think that most people log it as 20 minutes of circuit training. If you have a Heart Rate Monitor then you can get a better idea of how much you are burning. I think that the amount you lose is really dependant on how much you need to lose and how your diet is.
-
Great job getting in there and getting it done. I'm trying to talk myself into it right now.
-
Just for Today: I will remember that there is a reason that people say to stay off the scale. Getting on this morning was a definate mistake.:explode:
-
Level 1, Day 5: DONE!!!! I didn't want to do it, but I did. It helped that my 9 year old son was sitting in the room saying, "Come on, Mom. One more punch will give her a black eye!"

Leg/arm combos are terrible for me, too. I was able to do most of the lunges and curls today, but the anterior shoulder raises are things that nightmares are made out of:blushing:
-
Just for Today: I will not trade what I want most for what I want now.
-
Level 1, Day 4: finished.

You're supposed to tell us that by the time we get to level 3 we'll be so strong that it will be no problem. Pleasant lies are much better than horrible truths.
-
I hope you're feeling better!:flowerforyou:
-
Just for Today: I will make the time (Is that even possible, to make time?).
-
Very good advice. However, I have to admit that I find the original posters suggestions just a tad more helpful.:blushing: I'm afraid that, for me, naked fat rolls play a far greater motivating roll than "It's Bad".

This is absolutely my hardest struggle.
