Same boat. A couple years ago I lost 25 pounds, now I'm back at my old starting weight PLUS 8! At least we know it's possible, right?

Usual rule of thumb for a 150 pound person, 100 calories burned for each mile, regardless if walked, jogged or ran. Give or take.
