I wear knee/patella wraps when I work out for a similar sounding problem...I dint think it could hurt... But if it continues or worsens, I would get it checked. Could be over-use, form, lack of muscle tissue, a tear or strain...anything. Be careful...

hard boiled eggs are an easy grab out of the fridge, and very portable. Where I work, is pretty laid back, so I eat a "snack" later in the morning like toasted sandwich thins or bagel thins with PB2. I always have fruit around like bananas, apples, and oranges. Grapes already portioned and bagged are an easy grab in the AM…

northern beans, split peas, lima beans, edamame, russet potato with skin, avocado. High water fruits like watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumber, celery. Also, plain lo-fat yogurt. These are all hight potassium foods

it really is not that difficult if you eat whole foods, not processed. It does change the taste of things you have eaten your whole life, but it is worth it!

Jillian Michaels has a DVD "Shred it with Weights", where she uses a kettlebell. It is a nice 20-25 min video with 2 levels

i'm guessing not. Unless you are putting in your age, weight, etc. The machine is probably not calculating your heart rate either...your best bet is to wear a heart rate monitor

protein, protein, protein

I wonder if your sodium is really high? It would make you retain water...
-
First, dehydration can cause water retention. Second, limit sodium intake to 2500 mg a day. http://www.livestrong.com/article/280749-side-effects-of-too-much-salt-intake/

I agree with Kminor67...LOTS of water! Try some high potassium foods and/or high water content foods. Plain lo-fat yogurt. Baked potato WITH skin. Medium sweet potato. Banana. Raisins. Carrots. Cantaloupe. Celery. Also be sure you are getting your calcium and Magnesium. good luck!

Nicely written! You can do it!

Whether you employ muscle confusion in your program or not, it's important to keep pushing yourself, Meine says. "Challenging your body in new ways, involving more muscles in your workout, and giving a little more each time--that's how you maximize number of calories burned," he adds. Bottom line: "Your workouts should…

I don't think it can hurt...If you feel sore, then yes...I do 30-60 minutes of cardio most days, but after that, my husband is ready for dinner. So, I find it easier to do my "work out" during the ads. Your muscles will get the rest and the work out they need over a longer stretch of time.

alot of carbs bother my joints, especially oatmeal...weird...so, I don't eat oatmeal for that reason.

I don't post to facebook, because frankly, they don't want or need to know. In reality, they are not in the same place as the people on MFP. Everyone here has a common goal of eating and exercising, getting healthy, etc.

http://www.livestrong.com/article/303735-list-of-slowly-digestible-carbohydrates/ Fruit Most fruits are high in fiber and are digested slowly, because as with whole grain, the fiber in the fruit interferes with the process of digestion. Lower-fiber fruits, like dates, are digested quickly, but higher-fiber fruits like…

they are higher in sugar/ carbs. Especially bananas and grapes...my two main favorites! But, they are good for you in other ways. Veggies are better if you are concerned with your sugars. I need to satisfy my sweet tooth tho, and fruit is far better for me than chocolate... I hope that helps a little!

supplements can be pricey...you would be better off spending the money on chicken breast, eggs, cottage cheese, etc. If you are a serious body-builder and burning a ton of calories when you work out, go for it. I would rather eat my calories than drink them though...

that is so fun!!
