Welcome Kayla. I am right there with you. I am getting married in August and have my first dress fitting in a couple of weeks. I hope to God that dress still fits.

I love strong lifts 5x5! Check out the website at www.stronglifts.com.

I am 5'8" but am not to concerned with what the scale says so long as I get to around 18% body fat. I am a medium frame so this puts me at around 140bs.

I do three days of cardio at an hour each time, which cnsist of me doing a workout video at home 2 days per week and one day is spent horseback riding. I also do and three days of strength training of about 40-45 minutes, and am currently doing the 5x5 Strong Lifts program. I also take my dog out for an hour walk at least…

You may want to try a consignment shop. You can put your clothes that are too big on consignment and use the money you make when they sell to buy new clothes.

I walways get the tuna tataki salad when I go there. The portion that they serve is around 580 calaories, which is better than some of the other foods on their menu.

That is the best bad news anyone could get!

I am doing it so that I can finally go bathing suit shopping...and enjoy the experience.

I don't know what other women's experience with depo is, but I have been on it for 12 years and didn't gain weight because of it, or have any other side effects that some women experience.

I plan my meals a week at a time. I also go grocery shopping once a week, and stick to whatever items I need for that week and that week alone (no impulse buying, snacks sneaking into my cart, etc. If it's not on the list it doesn't go into the cart). This is a huge change from before I joined MFP when I would go shopping…

I managed to fit back into my skinny jeans this week. Granted they were still a bit snug but at least I didn't have to worry about the button flying across the room! When I first started I couldn't get them over my hips. Hopefully I can wear them comfortably in a couple of weeks.

My legs tend to cramp up too when I would work out. I found that drinking plenty of water before working out would help me.

If you aren't doing it then it's not that important to you...bottom line.

*cringing* I work for a health insurance company and have for 14 years. I am not going to touch on the HealthCare Reform bill (I don't feel warm and fuzzy about it and could spend countless hours complaining about it). However, I wanted to point something out that has been in existance since the inception of health…

Forgive my ignorance but what is POF? For the rest of you hope the matchmaking is going well. I am to old-fashioned to try online dating (may explain why I am single). LOL

I made a parfait with 1 cup of bran flakes, 1 red raspberry fat free yogurt and 1 cup of fresh strawberries. At 269 calories it fills me up and keeps me going until lunch.

I don't necessarily rely on the scale to tell me how I am doing. My scale not only tells me my weight, but it also tells me how many pounds of fat I have, what my fat percentage is, bone mass, water percentage and BMI. I use this information along with measurements (hips, bust, thighs etc.) to tell me how I am really…

Pole dancing is a great workout. I have been doing it for over a year. If you can work through the bruises you will see some pretty pleasing results, plus it breaks the monotony of going to the gym. Plus, you don't have to start off with a lot of upper body strength or be super fit to do it, but it will get you there…

Worked out earlier in the day and stayed within my calorie range. Going to relax on this chilly night before the hectic weekend starts. And you?

I know how you feel. I too have a chronic illness that keeps me on the sidelines at times. When I was first diagnosed I worked out 15 hours per week and was very active. I went from there to being bedridden and lethargic for nearly six months. It was extremely frustrating...I was never one to lay around and to be unable to…
