To be completely frank, worrying about 200g seems like unhealthy thinking. I, of course, know nothing of you or your trials and challenges. If you've just hit maintenance or are near your goal I can see how you don't want to see even 1 microgram. However, as many have said, weight is not static. If you feel you are…

Get back up and keep on trucking! Feel free to add me. I tend to fall off from time to time, but always pick myself back up. I'm currently fighting back after a tumble from vacation! You got this!!

I'm 12w pregnant and BMI 30<. My doctor has instructed me to gain no weight to minimize complications of GD and hypertension. So far I haven't gained any weight through the first trimester. This is from eating when hungry and never going over maintenance and being mindful of what I eat. I worry about fetal growth, but baby…

I am just 6 weeks pregnant with BMI >30 so I'm aiming to gain just the minimum baby needs. I am tracking too maintenance and trying to get out and walk. Would love to add any friends who are MFP'ing while pregnant!

I accept you. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I am struggling with protein that's a certainty. Trying to keep my carbs lower and protein higher, but it is definitely a battle. I haven't really given much thought to fiber, but may be worth measuring although I'm not really feeling hungry on my current eating plan.

i did search groups but most seemed inactive. Maybe i ddin't dig deep enough into the list. I will check again.

Way to go! Such an inspiration!

Your babies are precious. Thanks for sharing! :) I do know crash diets won't last and I want something lasting, but that's just the level of urgency and anxiety I feel. Right now I'm trying to take it slow. Trying to lower carbs, well moreso consciously control carbs, which I wasn't doing before. That's a challenge. I have…

I lost 50 lbs last year and have no gained all of it back. Previously i had lost 75 and gained that back as well. This time around i'm having such a hard time getting going. Hubby and I are doing it together, but he is doing amazing and i feel like i am dragging him down. This has been a new start this week, so far so…

There are a lot of ways to eat healthful without soup and many ways to eat fruit and veg without just soup. Is it that you don't like any fruits or vegetables? Can't afford them? I'm curious. Lean proteins like tofu, chicken, fish and eggs Whole grain bread and high fiber cereals steel cut oats brown rice, quinoa, barley…

For the record I never diagnosed myself with an eating disorder. Its an option I am exploring based on how out of control I feel around food. I have always wondered if something was wrong with me, for 29 years I have been overweight. For 20 of those years I have tried to lose. I will never understand the people who reply…

lots of recipes out there for healthy crustless quiche you can use eggs like a fajita, just scramble eggs, cook up peppers onions and tomatos and top with salsa in a tortilla OI made turkey bacon and egg pizza before that was tasty There are peruvian recipes that use an egg on top of a burger as well as other entrees I've…

I just wanted to thank everyone for the tough love and compassionate responses. I had lots to think about. I have been in touch with an intake worker at the eating disorders clinic and will have an appt at the end of Feb. Best part is all the services are covered by our Canadian health insurance. No one really thinks…

I'll admit to feeling very defensive about his particularly reply. If it was simply a matter of choice, we'd all just take the high road. To me it feels like a compulsion I am powerless to control. I'm not one to balk at hearing the hard things, but this reply felt a tad judgemental. I have just now booked and appt with an…

how do your clothes feel? Any looser? Are you weighing yourself in the nude at the same time of day? How much do you have to lose? Answers to the above may help sort it out. Sometimes the scale doesn't budge but you notice your clothes fitting better. Also water weight, scale variation and clothing can amount for 5-10 lbs…

We do a day of relaxed eating where we eat things we normally wouldn't, like order pizza or go out to dinner. We still try to make healthier choices, but we give ourselves one day to take it easy. Not so much a cheat day really. Most days we eat what fits our day. So hubby and i will enjoy a small bowl of ice cream if it…
