I though you were going to say the D word. Oops.

Hi. Happy New Year. I could do with about the same loss.

Chocolate chia pudding is great. I'd like to try it with a little coffee added to it next time too. If you like coconut it'd be nice with coconut milk too.
-
Your sister is wrong. Flax though I've read should be ground. Google "should chia seeds be ground to get the benifits" and you'll see they are good as is. LOVE chia pudding!

Last I heard it was 19 people dead including firefighters and an estimated 500 million animals have died. More than 5 million hectares (or 12.35 million acres) of land lost. Around 1500 homes destroyed. The navy started rescuing around a thousand people at a time off the coast. It's catastrophic :(

Sounds like MLM to me. I'd steer clear. Also what real qualifications does a "coach" have? From what I quickly read nothing other than they are also into Optiva. I'd keep my money and do it for free on MFP by calorie counting:)

I have no idea what it was supposed to cost since there was no price on it but quite a lot. No I didn't get it online.

You can buy salt & vinegar brown rice cakes over hear that are wonderful. I don't like brown rice and I don't like rice cakes so it's odd I love these better than chips now, I find them too oily.

Yes it's rare to have it for us so really it's a little special but like I said I did get it at a very good price. Guess I should go let him know it was lovely. It's only the second time ever I got a whole leg.

My dad use to always make zuppa di pesce. He fished almost every weekend. Lucky you sardelsa. I should try to make it one day.

Looks amazing PAPRUS3!

It's fairly similar to proscuitto but better. When I was in Spain we bought some incredible pre-sliced cryo-vac'd Jambon. Cost a small fortune and it was put in my luggage which got lost between San Sebastion (Nrth Spain) and the Almalfi Coast in Italy. I was more worried about losing the Jambon than all my clothes :)…

I bought a whole leg of jamón ibérico de bellota at a good price since I know the shop owner. It was amazing. Not too salty at all. Just right. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Off the charts healthy ^. Merry Christmas Tom. I have a Greek feast to do tomorrow. Very hot here in Queensland as usual at Christmas so it will go down well with frozen boozy frozen drinks with mangoes or strawberries and the pool. Too long a list to mention of what we are having and I never worked out how to put pics on…

The sound of distant thunder is lovely. I like rain to be quite heavy so I can hear it on the roof too so it's relaxing but not like it was in Feb. of this year when it flooded our house and we only moved home a few weeks ago after most of the year away from home. We are in drought now and miss the rain. Can't win.

It's possible the richer kids had the money to spend on partying more so don't look as healthy. Less sleep, drinking & drugs can do that.

I read if you rub the chickpeas between your hands in a bowl of water then leave them a little while the skins should float up. Not tried it though.

They look really good Alice.

I am not sure why people have an issue with their avocado being too ripe too quick. I live where they are grown. All I do is buy one hard or a touch riper leave it on the counter for a day or two till it's perfect then put it in the fridge where it stops getting ripe as fast. Lasts days. I've never ever had to throw one…

Love you don't waste the leaves!

These are lovely, had them in the San Sebastián but dad use to always do it as per the second recipe. https://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/recipes/chefs-recipes/salt-cod-fritters-7790 https://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/baccala-mantecato-salt-cod-paste

...and who really cares since this discussion is going on too long and not relevant to the original post. It was just one I picked out drop of the hat. The original place I saw it was from a blogger that lives where it's called corn flour. Have a nice week.
-
:) It's called corn flour here.

Go you. Massive hugs from Australia

In the shops in Australia I've not seen cake flour till recently but it's pretty easy to make up yourself apparently from a mix of a couple of flours. I'm 53 so no things are not the same everywhere. Never heard of it even much till recently and I have worked in the cooking industry too.

We aren't boring! You sound fun. Some one has to look after the kids. I'm in

Fresh fish every week since my dad would fish every weekend. We live in Australia but sometimes it was perogi with cabbage and bacon or potato and cheese, cabbage rolls, borscht and potato pancakes since mum was from Ukraine.

My car was a Prado 4 wheel drive. It got left behind in the garage in the flood and now I have a very cute red Mazda 3 with lots of bells and whistles but I'll miss my 2 petrol tanks in the Prado.
