I live in the tropics so have come across this fruit. It's called Black Sapote or Chocolate Pudding fruit. Lots of vitamin C in them.

Do you have this pinned on Pinterest? If you do I'd love to pin it to make some day. Sounds perfect.

Thank for the link. I made amazing beef stock in the slow cooker on the weekend. Best I've ever tasted and making a beef, noodle & mushroom soup tonight with it. It's from this website https://www.recipetineats.com/homemade-beef-stock/

THAT is a bowl of heaven on earth. Wow! I want that so bad.

Yum! Do you have a recipe?

Australia is only just about to start giving the vaccination next week. Crazy since we were told we'd be one of the first countries to get it. Can't trust politicians as usual.
-
My guess is that despite California having stricter rules regarding lockdown that plenty of people still weren't compliant unlike In Australia and New Zealand where almost every person is. Americans tend to not like having their Freedoms take from them where as we tend to mostly be fine with it.
-
Wow. You'd rather see your loved ones die than close a boarder to stop the spread? I do not agree at all.

A region in North Queensland. We have seen very little of it. We had a politician way back come and luckily nothing much came from it. We still have sanitiser in every shop and most try to social distance. No masks needed yet.

I got one too and you can easily adjust how many days you have been on MFP. So how long it says they have been on here may not be correct.
-
Still no Covid here. Hope that doesn't upset the couple of people rude to me last time.
-
I'm so not going to work out the days. Since July 29 2012 and I'm not skinny yet, I was for son's wedding but I'm not fat again so all fine.

That looks perfect!

The lamb looks lovely and moist. I poke holes with a knife then insert fresh slivers of garlic and fresh rosemary into mine. Works so well with lamb. Did you use shoulder or leg? Shoulder I'm guessing. It stays much more tender especially with long slow cooking or pressure cooking. Not sure why but I can't handle roasted…

I have truffle cheese right now. I have Persian Fetta too and Halloumi .. I have all of it. lol. I even have lactose free pizza cheese mix for my little fur baby because I think she is lactose intolerant and loves cheese. Oh and I don't know if you know or not but you can freeze most cheeses. I have tons of Brie frozen and…

You are so very lucky! Do use it all as much as you can. Also if you use it in your cooking I'm sure he'll eat it and be very healthy too.
-
Yes I've kind of figured that out now thank you Red.

Please keep doing what you are doing. I live in the sun cancer capitol of the world. I've had a few cut off of me. The whole side of my nose cut open to remove one. Luckily it was done by a plastic surgeon and I have no scar. So glad you are careful. I didn't know to be careful when very young.

I am a bit too sensitive so guess it's my own issue. Thanks for your input. I definitely am never rude or mean anything like I think we are superior etc here. Only wanted to state facts and sorry if it comes across in any other way. It's hard to say what you mean with words on a screen so everyone understands what you mean.
-
I can say it was totally 100% not meant that way at all but whatever.. people can take things as they like. I was only stating the facts and nothing more. The part about not wearing a mask was because they were rude by disagreeing instead of saying what was incorrect in their eyes and probably don't wear a mask when they…

Yes it's the poor in most countries that will have to deal with more cases of this I think. Very sad for sure.
-
And I agree. I never said otherwise about other places no matter how much the population is. I hope things get better there very soon with all of my heart. Big hugs to all there.
-
One of my best friends for a VERY long time on here is a RN in NYC. I think you are all amazing. I can't even imagine how you are all dealing with this. Massive hugs to you. Thank you for all that you do.

I never gained at all with it. I was post menopausal though and only had it in as the doctor said it would help stop the pre-cancerous cells I had. I hope she was right. I have it in for 6 years total until I'm 60. Cross fingers she is correct on it. Worries me a bit. I did bleed on and off for many months with it but then…
-
Whomever disagreed with me could you please say what I said was incorrect so I can prove what I said it true to you and then tell me what your country is doing better if it has the pandemic is killing lots of people? I guess you don't wear a mask and should be too.
-
Since applespearsncakes hasn't replied yet and I'm in Australia too I'll give my take on where I am. We have zero Covid so don't need to really do anything much. I am still careful so wash my hands and use sanitiser. The shops all have some for you to use before entering if you want to use it. No masks needed here but I…

I appreciate your views on the matter. I always have an Epipen although sometimes it's out of date when I forget to get a new one. Ahem. I feel a bit better after your thoughts on it. Much appreciated.

Sorry, I meant any of the COVID vaccines. If you have an anaphylactic episode from anything you are allergic to and you are perhaps in a hospital like I was then are you not safe 100% if they give you adrenaline or can you still die? They gave it to me and I was fine last time. Oh this is a worry.. :(
-
papperpudding, could you tell me if someone with anaphylaxis to Bactrim would be fine to take the vaccine? I'm assuming it's OK. It just worries me a bit and not asked the doctor yet.

Yum!!!
