Ohh, in America, flapjacks are pancakes. In the UK, they're kind of like granola bars. Someone should clarify that, I feel.

This is a tough one for me too. I don't have the answer, but a legit strategy is to just go to bed. I find that when I'm tired, I get hungry. Probably something to do with the body looking for sources of energy, I would imagine. I try to listen to my body and get to bed if I feel like that is happening. Also, I'm not…

I think she's effing gorgeous and I'm glad fat models are getting the recognition they deserve. All you know is what she looks like. You know exactly nothing about her health. That goes for everyone.

I wish I was you. I bet you get invited to all the best parties.

Just the occasional frozen pizza, these days. Fun fact: About 14 years ago I had some Healthy Choice fettucini alfredo which had such an artificial taste that it put me off fettucini alfredo of any type for about a year.

About 11-12 years ago I was addicted to fast food. Literally. I'm talking 2-3 trips a day to McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, etc. (But I was still telling myself I weighed 400 lbs because I had "tried everything and just can't lose weight"... ahem.) I then went through a period when I couldn't afford to do that anymore…

I definitely recommend going to classes. It helps to have an instructor there who can pinpoint exactly what you need to improve upon to do the moves. You'll also have classmates who can spot you, which is a huge help in building confidence to try new moves. My pole friends are some of the best friends I have! :)

I prefer the texture of brown rice. I also like that it has more fibre. I know it doesn't have LOADS more fibre, but I take it where I can get it. Whatever.

McDonald's is vile.

Why is it odd? People are looking for different kinds of support on here. You may have had someone who was trying to avoid eating disorder triggers, for example. If you had low numbers on your diary, they might have found it difficult and defriended you to keep themselves safe. Don't take it personally, suck it up and do…

My weekend breakfast calories tend to look like that, but then I don't really eat again until dinner, so it balances out. Love big weekend breakfasts! :)

I guess you're looking for a heart rate monitor? I used to use a Polar FT2 - an older model HRM - which would tell me my average heart rate, which I could then use to get a rough estimate of how many calories I'd burned. Any "gadget" will only be able to give you a rough estimate, remember. My FT2 died a few months ago and…

776! Popcorn, anyone? :D

Fat Acceptance is basically recognising that fat people deserve respect and have every right to be proud of themselves and happy with the way they look whether they want to lose weight or not.

All right, professor. What's the test? It's nice that you have a strong body and whatnot, but that still doesn't mean milk has all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

45 minutes of Body Pump this morning and an hour of pole dancing this evening

That statistic isn't actually that far off what happens in the general population. Research shows that, unfortunately, anyone who loses a significant amount of weight will probably regain it. 80-90%, depending on the study

That is true, however these are also people who feel they have no other option. And that belief is supported by people on the show. So it's their choice, yes, but they're also a bit vulnerable.

It's a rejected name for the band I used to be in. I liked it, so I adopted it as a username :)

Dunno about this. I used it when I was heavier and it said I was fatter than 100% of females in the world. But on the upside, I guess that means I WIN!

That strategy has been the biggest key to my weight loss, I think, and now that I'm more or less in maintenance, it's still working really well. :)

Eggs, meat, dairy, white bread, white rice - lots of stuff is low in fiber.

So have a burger. I slightly undereat during the week so I can loosen the reins a bit on the weekends. It works really well for me.

Your food diary shows evidence of some guessing - things like: half a packet of turkey thigh mince, 1 cup of chicken, 1 small egg coming in at 180 calories If you're having trouble losing weight, it might be worth weighing your food out to get a really accurate idea of what you're eating. Just my initial thought.

I get tough about it and don't accept excuses from myself. I keep doing it, not because I'm excited or feel good about doing what's best for myself. I don't feel any great motivation. I just do it. I struggle, and I hate it, but I put one foot in front of the other and do it.

I don't really do the reward thing. For me, I can't get my head around fitting rewards into a lifestyle change. I don't reward myself for having a shower, or going to the post office - I don't see why I should reward myself for going to the gym or eating sensibly. But that's me. I can see why it might work for some people,…

I love, love, love pizza, especially with good crust, so I won't ever replace that. However, I also love cauliflower and have been curious about trying this, more as a way to get more cauliflower onto my plate than a way to get less real pizza!

I generally have a Quest bar when I get to work in the morning after going to the gym. I like the amount of protein and fibre in them. I'm no longer trying to lose weight, so I don't know how they impact upon that, but as long as you're able to fit them into your macros, I don't see why they would cause problems

I was "morbidly obese" to begin with, now I'm just boring "overweight". Yawn. That's MUCH less exciting. Here's some favourites of mine: Chicken, Leek, and Butternut Squash bake: http://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/chicken-leek-and-butternut-squash-bake#.VLBIHiusVMg Skinny Taste Bolognase:…
