Doughnuts are good carbs. Mmmmmm...

Fresh eggs in Europe aren't produced and treated the same way American eggs are. If your eggs are chilled when you buy them, you need to keep them in the fridge. http://www.businessinsider.com/should-you-refrigerate-eggs-2014-7 "After an egg is refrigerated egg, it must be kept at that temperature. "A cold egg left out at…

You're mixing up "being supportive" and "telling you what you want to hear". You came here asking for some support and have been given that. The fact of the matter is that detoxes and cleanses are totally unnecessary. People aren't going to tell you which cleanse is the best to use because none of them are any good. I'm…

One of my favourite workouts! I log it under "circuit training, general" and enter the calories burned per my heart rate. I'm 5'7", 183 lbs and generally burn roughly 420 calories or so for the 55 minutes. :)

Depends on the video I've used. Usually, "circuit training, general" or "kickboxing", and then enter my rough calorie burn based on my heart rate monitor. You can't really trust the MFP estimates - they are ridiculously high. If you don't have a heart rate monitor, I'd cut the MFP estimate in half to be safe.

Eating whatever I want, whenever I want.

I agree.

Do YOU feel like it's ok? Our opinions don't mean a thing.

My highest weight ever was about 10 years ago, 400 lbs. At that time, I was eating fast food for at least two meals a day. Snacks were typically ice cream, handfuls of chocolate from family size bags, and butter flavour microwave popcorn with extra butter added. Honestly, I don't know how I wasn't really sick back then. I…

This might be it as well. I tried a couple different BMR calculators with your numbers and got 2060 and 2004. You might need to experiment with lower numbers, since those will only be estimates.

If you've gained weight, you're taking in more calories than you're burning. If you don't weigh and measure your food already, it might be helpful to do that for a while so you can get an accurate idea of what you're eating. It's really easy to underestimate the calories you eat. Cutting out things like bread won't affect…

For about two-thirds of my weight loss ~journey~ I ate below my BMR and saw no ill effects. I think it's one of those things people say without really researching because it sounds good. Whether you eat below your BMR or below your TDEE, you're still eating less than your body needs to maintain your weight. I'd like…

People are a-holes sometimes and will single anyone out for any slight difference. It's not a reflection on you - it's simply an example of how sad and immature these boys were. I'll bet you looked gorgeous. Don't let those children stop you from working it! xx

Just so I make sure I understand - You're annoyed that your co-workers won't change their eating habits because you can't control yours? Is that the gist of it?

You haven't lost 2 lbs of fat in 2 days. Some of it is probably fat because if you're eating at a calorie deficit, you'll be burning fat (and probably a bit of muscle). But for all of it to be fat would require a calorie deficit of 7,000 calories.

Your body will let you know if you're overdoing it. Pay attention and give yourself rest days when you need them.

No. I've always felt attractive, and I especially liked appealing to the demographic that prefers bigger girls, because they REALLLLLY prefer bigger girls. There were times I felt absolutely worshipped when I was larger. My husband is one of these men, and he's my target audience, so I never felt unattractive. He loves me…

Sounds like the kind of relationship where you bring out the worst in each other and would be much better suited as friends, to be honest.

I can't really say, but no app is going to be particularly accurate. A hear rate monitor will give you a better idea because it can tell just how hard your body worked. It will still be only an estimate, but if you're using an app, you may as well just guess.

Oatmeal, chia seeds, or something else with lots of fibre :)

My motivation, initially, was about how I felt, physically. I felt awful. I had previously lost a lot of weight, and I knew I was gaining it back, which sucked, but the worst part was how unhealthy I felt and how unable to do things I was. I feel a million times better now and am able to do most things I want to do, so I…

There's no such thing as negative calorie foods in any amount. The amount of energy it takes to digest the food is factored into the equation when determining how many calories something has.

I just had a bowl of pineapple and grapes. Am I a part-time vegan?

I know exactly what you mean. I know that the comments are meant well. The people who make them know how long and hard I've worked. So I always accept them gracefully and genuinely appreciate the sentiment behind them. However, I would prefer my body not be the focus of any conversation. There's also always the "you look…

If it happened to me? The guy would get a knee to the groin. It's a cute fantasy, but if playing this out for real, I'd suggest you be damn sure she's interested.

Highest: About 400 lbs. Lowest: my current weight of 183 lbs

I lost 130 lbs without strength training. I started doing pole dancing a little over a year ago, which is definitely strength training, and really love the changes it's made to my body.

Personally, I love them and would really like to have one, but it's not possible with all the loose skin I have. Maybe someday.
