HI everyone! I'm waaay late to the bandwagon, I know! :) I'm currently 30 weeks today (due date is April 16th) with baby #2, a girl. My first is also a girl - turned 3 in December. I had used MFP after her birth to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 130 and that's about where I started when I got pregnant this time…

Thank you, Terrie! I appreciate that!

Late to weigh-in. At 132, which is up two from last week, but I also think some is sodium/water weight. I've been on a bit of a roller coaster the last two weeks. Not to divulge too much personal info, had a miscarriage a few days after finding out we were pregnant. Spent a bit of time taking it easy and had some lax log…

I think I'm just…

It's been pretty slow goin' for the past few weeks. I think I could stand to lower my calorie intake (I'm eating around 1500, which…

I'll just keep at it for February, and hopefully break the 2 lb fluctuating plateau.

Having a mixed week here! It started off a little dicey, but I decided on Tuesday to cut my intake of processed grains and added sugars down to just about zilch. I know that weight loss is simply intake vs. output, but if I take away some of the temptations of pointless calories, I think it feels like a mental victory. :)…

Hoping the non-loss is mostly just bloat, though I did…

SW = 153 (July 2013) CW = 134 UGW: 125 April Fool Challenge GW: 125 January weigh-ins: 1/1 - 134 1/6 - 135 My Jan 1 weight is a little bit of an estimation based on a different scale, and a day or two earlier than the 1/1 date. Since I've returned home and started using my own scale again, I've consistently weighed in at…

I'm gonna participate in the challenge, but probably not this kickoff today. I'm still out-of-state and using a wonky scale that's different than the one I've been weighing myself on for the last 8 months. I know I'm somewhere in the 135 or slightly under range, so I'm looking forward to using the AFC to lose the last 10…

I'm 31, 5'3" and my current weight is 133. Pants size 4-6 depending on the brand. 8 lbs from goal weight of 125. Once there, I may decided to stay or lose another 5. Hopefully, I'll just maintenance within the 120-125 range.

I usually opt for a simple gin and tonic if I'm going to have a mixed drink. I don't drink alcohol much these days, but I'd also take a beer (I tend to gravitate toward a brown/amber ales, or a lager) or a glass of wine (semi-dry reds preferred) on special occasions. I don't drink sodas, so if I'm not indulging in one of…

I'm 5'3" and 31 years old. My highest was just after I had my daughter about 2 years ago: 178. I quickly lost about 15 lbs just from my body balancing itself out (and with the help of breastfeeding!), but then it stalled because I wasn't *actively* working on weight loss. I started MFP when I was at 163, and am now at 138.…

I'd love some support, too! It's gotten a little quiet on my newsfeed for the last few months and it's always so much easier to make good choices with a good support system! Here's my info: Just celebrated 85 days of consistent logging. :) Location: Duluth, MN (mixon2, I'm originally from Buffalo, NY!) Age: 31 Height: 5'3"…

Don't forget the most important remedy: rest! Seriously, your body is fighting off those virus intruders and it gets worn out pretty quickly. Spend a little extra time in bed, sleeping, or at least remaining relaxed. I know it's not easy (trust me, I have a 2 year-old!), but it'll definitely help battle your aches and…

Trash in our house. Or my husband will take it in for his students. I have a 2 year-old, so we trick-or-treat with her, but I don't let her eat the candy (and she doesn't care yet since she doesn't know what it is). I think I will buy myself a small dark chocolate bar and nibble on it for the "treat calories."

When my weight loss slows to a crawl and it's hard to stay motivated, I focus on little, daily goals, like making sure I get about 12 glasses of water a day, or cutting out processed sugar for a week. It gives me that more immediate "high" of reaching a goal and also helps with the long term weight loss plan. I also read…

I either eat a spinach smoothie (with banana, spinach, Greek yogurt, cinnamon, chia, and almond milk--around 400 cals) or Muesili topped with fruit (oats, almond milk, chia/flax, cinnamon, a squirt of agave, and whatever fresh fruit is in the house--around 350 cals). I find it's important for me to start the day with a…

It sounds way more "foodie" than it is, but I'm baking whitefish (fresh from Lake Superior!) with a curry coconut crust and serving it up over polenta and topped with a coconut milk and turmeric sauce. Steamed garden beans and caramelized onions on the side!

Look at you! You are BEAUTIFUL in both pictures. You are wearing the same body. The difference is that in the second, you'd working on making it function so that it keeps you strong and healthy. Please, as others have said, be proud of your journey and make sure that in the end, it's your hard work and strength of…
