  • I'm 5'5 (and 1/2...that's important) :p At 135 I look way too thin, and people don't have a problem telling me so :( Currently, I'm 162 (and don't look horrible for my age because I carry it well). I'm shooting for 140-145. That seems to be a comfortable weight for me and body type.

  • Sourdough and Rye breads don't contain sugar and they are delicious! Let us know if your trials work. I feel like I've desensitized my sugar tastebuds as well and I'm to the point where I like (sweet) foods really sweet. I'd like to do some retraining of MY tastebuds as well.
  • Many of these posts were really good ideas. Here's my "tricks". I usually do all 3 things. 1) Hot bath with epsom salts and a few drops of lavender oil (and candles :-) 2) Hot tea (decaffeinated in the evening) with vanilla or regular Stevia.   • Even though I'm not a runner (I'm more of a quick walker with a little bounce in my step! :-), hubby bought me the most amazing running shoes! They are extremely light! Not sure what material they are made of but they feel like socks...they definitely call me to put them on! I wish all my shoes were that comfortable! :-)…
