Just piping in that I had never read the book or seen the show and LOVED this challenge. It was a nice break from scale watching but really boosted my activity, strength, and flexibility. If you’re on the fence, try it!

I get this too. In my case, I wonder if some of it isn't that at some stages of weight loss I do look a bit worse. I go from plump to melted candle. Then things seem to tighten up a bit. Then melted candle again. I'd still rather be fit and healthy though.
