My hair. It's naturally platinum blonde.

I second this. It has no affect on weight at all.

My mother in law, who is obese, is really nosy about what I eat as well. Instead of wanting me to lose weight, however, she wants to constantly make me bigger like her by cooking extra fatty foods and bringing me home treats on a regular basis. She seems genuinely upset when I mention I'm trying to stick to a 1300 calorie…

I already went out and bought all the treats for my descending goal weights. To avoid my using them early, I wrapped everything up in christmas paper. I get to open each one when I reach the corresponding weight.

I prefer green tea. Apple cider vinegar gives me a stomach ache and it didn't do anything to affect my weight. Green tea on the other hand stifles my appetite hugely which does have a considerable affect on my weight.

I currently wear a US size 12. Once upon a time I was a US size 4. That was back before vanity sizing started to warp everything.

Probably, but I don't really care. I briefly show my face in my profile pic for certain forum threads but am quick to change it back to something that is not me. I feel weird seeing my own image every time I post a reply, so I prefer anonymous images of things that interest me. If they turn people off, so be it.

I can't see your face Unpredictably, but you have a nice body. I hope that's something. :)

Therapy, clean eating (it takes a while but you'll notice a difference in mood after a few weeks), pills, and behavioral changes. The latter you can learn in therapy (but also from books if you can't afford a therapist). I think learning to change the way you think is the most important element for depression specifically.…

The most effective Jillian Michael's workout for me is Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I combine it with a couple levels of the 30 Day Shred and boy do I feel it after I'm done (in a good way). I also use Extreme Shed and Shred, Shredded in 30, and No More Trouble Zones as well.

I have been married happily for seven years to a genuinely good person. I think it's important to NOT change a person you are in a relationship with. Choose someone you are really happy with as they are, not someone you need to "reform" in order for them to fit your ideal. I get incredibly irritated with people I know…

I have a Mirena and it never caused me any problems. Birth control pills, on the other hand, screwed with my mood in a major way.

My favorite TV show in the whole world is Arrested Development closely followed by Futurama.

She can be a bit over the top, but her workouts are extremely effective. I'm losing weight faster by switching through her DVDs through out the week than I ever did when I used to run and do basic strength training combined.

Motivation is fickle, sometimes I have it sometimes I don't. The important thing is that when I don't have it, I keep forcing myself forward. Weight loss isn't always going to be an easy like it is when you are charged up about it. In fact, most of the time it is going to be a struggle. Period. Well, that is my personal…

I have significantly more energy and I feel much more stable mentally when I eat clean. I'm a moody, exhausted mess when I don't.

I hate doing it, I love how I feel afterwards. Working out and I have a complicated relationship.
-
I've been using it for a few months. I do two levels a day combined with other circuit training work out videos as well.
-
Changed my profile picture for a brief time to be myself. I don't much like using profile pics with my own image.

I'm damn lucky in that my weight distributes itself evenly all over my body, not just in one place. I tend to look lighter than I am.
-
Motivation really seems to come and go. The test is if you can force yourself to keep going in an unmotivated phase. I read somewhere that "discipline is doing what you know needs to be done even if you don't want to do it". You'll find no greater weight loss truth than that one.

I may not be sure of how many calories I'm burning because I don't have a heart rate monitor, but I find that I sweat and feel my heart pounding the most when I'm doing circuit training. I figure I must be burning a decent amount if I'm painting like a dog and sweating buckets. I plan to get a heart rate monitor this…

Drink something like a cup of tea or coffee instead of eating junk food and another thing you can do is bring your own healthier food to eat. If you bring your own food, you get to enjoy eating something, but you won't feel guilty about it. Good luck. P.S. The shopping idea is great.

I can say only twice in my life have I ever been complimented on my weight loss. As a general rule I get negative responses. It has taught me to just shut my mouth and keep it to myself.

I don't eat desserts or sugary junk food and it's had a huge impact on how I feel physically. My energy level went through the roof after a few dessert-free weeks. I might also note that If something has sugar in it as an ingredient and it's fairly low on the list, then fine. Fruit, also fine. Being too draconian about…

80 minutes of circuit training.

Mine is a Danse Macabre image..

Baked fish and steamed veggies is my favorite low cal meal. Another tip I have is instead of mashed potatoes in certain meals that compliment them, I mash up 1 steamed sweet potato and one steamed carrot with about a 1/4 cup of skim milk and it's an excellent substitute for the regular potatoes.

I have a bad knee and was encountering problems with the 30 DS as well. After giving up on my first week, I later decided to give it one more try. This time I experimented a little and found that if I stopped doing the jumping jacks and butt kicks, and replaced them with other things instead, the pain seemed to subside a…
