Planning not to count, but not get crazy and only eat a mealtime (no all day snacking). I'm running a casual 5K that morning and a half-marathon the Saturday after to help justify eating some gravy and pie.

While the idea of useable calories makes sense based on the method of cooking (similar to how, as I understand it, a sugar calorie is much easier for the body to convert and store as fat than other calories), but the idea that the total calorie content of a food changing based on boiling vs. microwaving doesn't make sense…

I used to love rootbeer oreo shakes from the Iceberg in Utah growing up. Sounds like a nasty combo, but I loved it. Seems pointless to me. A rough-justice folding (or even just cramming it into a ball) seems to be more efficient. I mean, when it is not in your closet, you cover it up with a top sheet and comforter and you lay on it. Who cares if you folded it "right"?
