Are you using a strap on HRM? Might be getting loose when you run or something because that does not make sense physiologically unless you are running in slow motion matrix style.

Your body requires days off in order to recover. Your results will be hindered and can lead to injury if you don't allow your body to rest.

I like thin ankle socks for running made of dri-FIT material. ex. Dri-FIT Nike socks.

I am from California so I love running outdoors and on trails. We have fantastic weather for this here. If I could lift weights outdoors I would!

This works! Cut your cardio and up your heavy lifting. Try a 5x5 program that incorporates compound lifting. I am assuming you don't do this based on your OP stating you work with body weight only. I went from 21% to 14% in 8 weeks following proper nutrition and heavy lifting. Good luck!

Cheat Meal = Philly Cheese steak sandwich w/ everything on it. ( est. calories 1000) vs. Cheat Day = Chili cheese fries, Philly Cheese steak sandwich, Hot Fudge Sundae, Pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, spaghetti, fried chicken etc. (est. calories 6000+) I don't do cheat days, I do a cheat meal and go slightly over…

Once you have calculated your TDEE, counting is key to your "weight loss" goal. Calories In vs Out will influence your progress. Macros help fine tune the above statement. For example, I adjusted my macros to achieve my goal in cutting body fat % but maintaining as much lean body mass (LBM) possible. My goal is not…

Hi, with the information of 128lbs @ 5"2 the average "normal" BF% is between 15-25%. If you are searching for tone ie. abs you would need to drop down to 15% and less. Source: http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/bmi-calculator.html

Do compounds 3 days hard a week. Eat! Nutrition is huge in making lean mass gains. Rest to grow! When you plateau in muscle growth, switch up your workout routine so your muscles don't get acclimated to the same redundant exercises.

Spinach, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, and shaved almonds salad with a red wine vinaigrette. Diced Cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, olives in plain greek yogurt. Can even add shredded chicken breast to make a healthy chicken salad. I experiment alot with salads because you can add anything to it, kind of like eating a at a…

I use protein shakes to hit my macros and caloric intake when I don't have time to prepare a nutritious meal. Personally I would rather eat my intake than drink it :)

I drink protein shakes to fit macros/calories into my daily intake. I don't always have time to prepare adequate meals during the week due to a demanding work schedule.

Hi, you are eating far to low at the moment for 5'3" and 250 pounds. I calculated your TD @ 2400 with a light exercise regimen. Try eating at 1900-2000 cals. and work from there adjusting your macros appropriately. I am a firm believer of IIFIYM, it is so simple/basic and gives results. TDee Calc:…

I think they are a waste of money. I use wooden blocks to get depth and if you have issues with your wrist, you can always wrap them or use your fists.

Yes as I do this for warm ups 50 x 2... Never tried 100 in a row though, would be a fun challenge! Now pull ups are a different story

You have 12.6% body fat. You have 22.1 Pounds of fat and 152.9 Pounds of lean (muscle, bone, body water). I don't think this is accurate, calipers gauged me at 14-15% but oh well not off by much. Also it didn't ask for my height? Now to lose 22.1 lbs of fat by June lol.

Welcome and good luck with battling the party binges! The Freshman 15 is legit so be weary.

Its a battle of inches and not what the scale says :) If you are working out with weights you are possibly burning fat and dropping water weight but gaining some muscle. Remember muscle is denser than adipose tissue so you can even possibly gain weight however muscle takes up less room than the latter thus getting "tight"…

The machines are not accurate and go by your weight you input + intensity via HR. If you want accuracy I suggest getting a HRM. Feet going numb? Many people get this and it is due to poor circulation in your lower extremities (feet falling asleep). The lower the incline the more your knees will lock and after long a…
