I sometimes feel the same, but in my case it comes from the fact that I am a bit skinny fat. Losing more weight is no longer an option, so I have to work out more... but progress is so slow.

People still want to believe in magic pills. Some imagine that a 2 months diet will undo the years of dammage they did to their body. When no magic happens it's easier to give up than continue and be patient. The key to my success so far is that I didn't give myself a timetable of goal weights. I started in spring 2012…

Congrats! I love your outfits :)

I get the 'you should stop' thing from men, women just ignore the problem.

I'm sorry to say this, but from a E European point of view you guys have no freedom at all; you are just raised to think you do. I know someone who went to college in the US and returned home because he couldn't adapt to the lack of freedom there. In my country you can be near death and still join a gym, no one would care…

All my relationships lasted longer than they should have so you must not do like me because it's a waste of time and energy.
-
You look great and if you are not happy with yourself, just make a new goal. I hit my GW some time ago and now I want to add a bit of muscle/tone. I want to be able to do stuff that avg people can't(eg. go hiking and wait for the others at the top while they are resting in the middle of the hill <#insert evil laughter…

I was only asked if I was turning vegetarian. The place where I have lunch mostly has fried meat and fat pork and I was just avoiding those.

Aren't really obese people at risk of having a heart attack on the treadmill? Why not deny them too and allow only healthy weight people membership? I'm sure if you were obese instead of underweight your story would have made the newspapers. On the other hand I do understand the gym's approach, but they should have given…

Here I failed at wearing a dress over the jeans to hide my butt :))

I don't think it burns too many because it find it closer to strength training than cardio(at least that's how my class is). MFP tells me like 90/hour for yoga or pilates and I really hope it's more.

Depends on your shape and hip size. I am a wide hips pear shape and my thighs didn't rub so badly at my HW(I could wear a dress with no problems), but in order for me to get a 'real' gap I would have to be seriously underweight.

You can replace your soy milk with almond/hazelnut milk. Those sound healthier to me.

This happened to me. I stalled for a few weeks and then surprise, I lost :)
-
I did nothing, just set a fitness goal and continue working
-
No idea. I just ate like a mad woman last night and it was all sweets. Somebody stop me, lol!
-
Of course you can do it! Try eating more in the begining because when your weight loss will stall you won't have any cals to substract from your diet + 1200 is kinda low for 5'9. Also don't set a deadline because you may be disapointed when it comes and you're not at your target weight. I am your height and ~29 years old…

I know a guy who said that he couldn't be with a woman that earns more than him. Time proved that she also has to be dumber than him. I guess some men still live in the stone age :D My dad always said that he would be happy if my mom earned more than him because our family whould have more money. This is the best way of…

I don't delete anyone except creeps, but I haven't had any yet. I have people clearly suffering from an ED and I just don't encourage them. I find it stupid to say 'good job' when the person ate <600 cals that day. I am one of those who are afraid to post around here because I am at a low weight. If I started complaining…

I don't know about treating it, but you can improve it by fat loss/sports/massages. Mine is a lot better than 1 year ago, but I made it my no1 enemy and worked for it. If I slack for a while then it starts to be visible again, so I think it's a life long battle that you will not win on the long term. I'll keep on fighting…

I have the same competition with my bf, too bad he doesn't know it yet :)).

The one that buys concert tickets and waits an eternity for them to pay back the money + the one with the evil plan that tricks others to do it

Yes, one, but I don't regret it. That girl is the 'queen bee' type and I refused to be one of her subjects.
-
I am more confident, so I'm no longer the good girl that used to take c%# from people, now I fight back and I love my new found strength. I am a bit worried that I exagerate in my goals and every time I get close to them I set a higher one instead. Overall I am a lot happier, I enjoy new things and love myself more.

I've lost my weight without exercise and I regret it. Instead of being proud of my body and posting a success story I am now exercising/toning/complaining I'm skinny fat.
-
As long as you don't have stomach problems because of skipping breakfast, go for it. Maybe bring a snack with you at work/school in case you get hungry later. I usually eat almonds+yogurt or bananna+strawberry+almond milk smoothie.
-
When you'll up your cals from 1200 you may experience a stall in the weight loss. It happened to me for more than a month, just be sure you won't get discouraged by it and go back to 1200.
-
I've hit my GW about 2 months ago, but I'm still not at my ideal body. I didn't work out during the weight loss process and now I have a lot to catch up in terms of fitness/toning/building muscles. I hope no one else does the same mistake as me because it's a big difference between the scale and the mirror.
-
Congrats! It took me a long time to do the same. I still hold on to some large things, but very few. They were a great reminder of my progress, but it's time to move on and go shopping.

I have no personal experience, but I've met a lady that was put on a 800cal diet by a nutritionist. She was shorter than you and a bit overweight. I'm not a fan of the starvation myth people preach on this forum. In my non specialist opinion you can go for it, but only for a short period of time. If you feel hungry or…
