At your height and weight I wouldn't focus on the numbers so much. Try doing a workout like the 30 day shred, not for weight loss per se, but more for body re-composition (if you want to change how you look). That program is a good starter program and you will see fast results (especially at your height and weight). You…

Day 9 completed! I might try level 2 tomorrow. I watched it today to remind myself of what it's like. I need to practice the side to side ski move. I'm just ready for a change.

Just wanted to encourage you all to not quit! If you dont quit, you win! I have been on a plateau forever and jumped on the scale today and I lost two pounds! I'm happy, but I'm nervous, like maybe it won't stay. I'm noticing changes in my body though so I know it's real. I'm going to wait until the end to log my weight…

Haha all of these annoy me! And whe she is looking at Anita's abs and says "Boy, I'd do just about anything to get those abs." I don't dislike her as a person, I just think she comes across as fake in this video because she's trying too hard to be relaxed and that's not her personality. I think I'd rather see her actually…

I didn't check in over the weekend but I did cardio on the treadmill on Saturday and took a rest day on Sunday. Six days in a row working out so I'm proud of that! Tripped on the treadmill when I was hopping off to fix the fan and I skinned my knee really bad. It's just like a deeper burn and hurts so bad to bend it so I…

Done for the day! I was pleased with my endurance today...was sweating more though. I had some tough spots. I turned the volume almost all the way down and focused one "the girls" instead of the instruction and somehow the workout was easier.

My workout is done for the day. I've been taking sport legs and it helps A LOT with the burn. Pushing through!

When I juice I track the calories of each individual item in the juice. Nektar's only shows calories, not individual nutrients so there's some protein there. I also add spirulina to add protein to smoothies and juices. It's not chalky like other protein powders and it is packed with nutrients.

Done. The anterior lunges with lateral raises we're making my arms tremble, I did a couple of the lunges without the raises but got back into it. I love how fast the workouts are, but I feel like I need to do extra afterward! I think I am going to work in "rest" days where I just do cardio.

I did it! I used 4 lb weights throughout...was tempted to switch to 2 lb weights at one point but pushed through so I feel good about that. The jump rope hurts my ankles so I alternate feet and that helps. I took measurements...hoping to lose inches everywhere and hopefully a few pounds as well!

I think it's okay to indulge. It sounds like you didn't enjoy it very much. Sometimes I make a note of how I feel to remind myself not to overindulge the next time. Eat a lot of green veggies, high fiber foods, and a lot of water the next day to help push things through. Get your exercise. You'll be fine.

I'm glad I found this. I was planning on starting it tomorrow as well. I've used it off and on in the last few years but never 30 days in a row. I remember using it and seeing good results just doing it two or three times a week. I lose motivation when my husband isn't doing it with me so I really need this thread!

Hey I just wanted to point out, for safety sake, that using a weighted backpack has different rules than using a barbell (with a rack!). Remember, the backpack is strapped to the users back and hanging on the shoulders. When using a weighted pack pack, I have heard to start out at 10% of your body weight and work your way…
