I just pooped it out.

Also, my doctor just sent me a message to stop worrying about the color of my poop right now (more details than that, but that was the gist). Now to eat some beets and see what happens ...

Atypicalsmith, my nutrition consultant wants me to avoid artificial sweeteners. Plus, I was drinking about three huge refills a day plus multiple cans of Diet Coke every day. That can't be good. FWIW, I've never drank coffee or energy drinks.
-
I've mostly substituted water for Diet Coke. I drink over 100 ounces of agua a day now. I'll have about two 12-ounce cans of a Stevia-sweetened soda a day. I plan on bringing that down once my I NEED DIET COKE NOW phase is over.
-
P.S. I just pooped and I'd say the color is a peanut/caramel color. Now you know.

Thanks for the help. I think. Ha, just kidding. Great (and humorous) comments. Atypicalsmith, good point about not eating enough. It's not on purpose. I haven't felt ravenous as usual (maybe getting rid of artificial sweeteners in my body helped?). I also noticed not all of my food was logged, but that's only the…

When I said the poop was tannish and slightly green, it's mostly tannish. Maybe I'll poop in a baggie and take it to Home Depot's paint department to get an accurate color sampling. ;) Yesterday was a lower calorie day, but my range is about 2,500ish calories. Considering my eating habits, I think I'd be more likely to…

I also wondered about this. I mean, I was guzzling down who knows how much of that caramel coloring a day.

I KNEW IT!!!

I just had a BodPod body composition test done because I had the same question about my body fat percentage. My handheld Omron gadget measures me in the 34-percent BF range. As I expected would be the case, the more accurate BodPod test showed that I'm actually in the 43-percent BF range. Big difference. By the way, my BMI…

You should be very proud! Congratulations and thanks for daring to post your pics. It's inspiring!

For fun, I just checked to see if a morning measurement would make a difference. HALLELUJAH! I AM 5-FOOT-7. Sweet - found half an inch. Tomorrow I'm going to wake up at 4:30 a.m. and see how I tall I can get myself to be again. Pretty sure my big belly is bringing my height down, too.
-
Posture definitely plays into it. I was trying to stand up straight. I guess it would've helped over the years to measure my height. Heaven and so many scales know I've weighed myself a gazillion times. Obviously, I have to make a mental adjustment that I'm a bit shorter than previously thought, but that's not a huge deal.…

Ha! You found my 3/4 of an inch, pinuplove! Can I have it back, please?

Showing my wife this thread with amazing results by impressive guys was probably not a good idea. Guess I'd better go work out now ...

P.S. Good luck with the newborn child! Our fourth is due in November. Three is already a handful, so it's going to get wild in our house, too.

Sorry, but I literally laughed out loud when I saw this topic. Not because I'm a jerk (or at least I think not). Rather, I just did the same exact thing! Hello, Mr. Misery. You have company. I had 800-plus calories during my dinner meltdown. Most of it was pretty healthy stuff, just too much of it. But I did have some…

Awesome job, man! Those pics are crazy. I like the profile one, too - really shows muscle definition on your back. Very impressive!

I have so much respect, man. That is one heck of an accomplishment, especially on a mountain bike! Are you nuts!?! LOL. As has been suggested, get some slicks for your mountain bike or, do yourself a favor, and buy a road bike for the next century! This particular story is so awesome it should fall into that…

Yet another awesome success story! Outstanding job, Mr. Triathlete! I bet that finish line felt SO SWEET!

My handheld device is currently my BFF. I'm 5-8, 263 pounds and my Omron fat-loss monitor puts me at 35 percent body fat. That means, according to this little gadget's calculations, I'm hauling around a whopping 171 pounds of lean mass. According to my BFF, I only have 92 pounds of body fat! Take that, BMI! (I'd have to…

This is my first post on MFP, and well worth it to congratulate you for the tremendous strides you've made in your life! I had a similar story as yours a year ago. I lost a boatload of weight (about 140 pounds overall) and eventually conquered Ironman Coeur d'Alene. I was still obese when I did it and that made it even…
