Thanks ladies, yep I think it was a migraine headache too. I have definitely changed my eating patterns since joining MFP years ago. I feel so proud of myself when I take the time to gather what I want to eat. Like foraging in the forest, but the forest happens to be my kitchen. Sometimes you really have to hunt for what…

Had the worst headache ever yesterday... So much so that I got sick. That has never happened before. Took Tylenol, went to bed early, and massaged the back of my scalp until I fell asleep. Sometime during the night my headache went away, thank goodness. Woke up with a real sore scalp though! Just taking easy today. I have…

Katla Thanks for the salmon recipe! ((hugs)) peeps! Just checking in here. Wishing I could type more these days, but its enough that I log my food in daily. Started at 250 lbs in December, and now presently 243.0 so I am happy. This is my TOPS weight mind you, so my nudist weight is on here...sadly I can't weigh in nude at…

Lenora, I am glad you feel comfortable typing (chatting) with us! I sometimes go and refill my cuupa Joe before I read your posts, because to me reading your posts is like sitting on a porch with you! Lee and I are retired too, in our mid fifties, and retired by choice. I suppose I could get a job, but I am having so much…

Oh lobster tails are easy, I just steam them until the shell is orange and they have curled a bit. I have attended a lobdster dinner and it was a lot of work! A lot of using the dang mallet, and when I saw what was under the head part I nearly gagged! I will just be eating just the tails from now on. Bless the lobster…

ok......I rec'd a hunk of salmon from the food bank. I open it up and expect to see a nice large, (I mean the package was large) fillet of salmon, and what do I see? I slice of a fish from the gills curve to the small lower fins that look like frillin wings!! The skin is still on, so I have decided to pretend I am on…

Re, oh lordy.. OK my brain went to the movie ,"History of the World part 1" with Mel Brooks. Madeline Kahn is choosing, saying "Yes, no, no, no, no, yes. ......then on a high note YES".... I know Mel Brook humor is a bit off but...that's me! Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in a money free society, just using the barter…

Pitegny (pit) I let him snack because really it delights me to have him have an appetite. I can still remember when back in 2013 to 2014 when he didn't have an appetite, and awaiting a new liver. He gives me a hard time about eating healthy and I give him a hard time about his snacking. We are the couple that nags at each…

Paula rushes and tackles ya with a hug!! (heehee) Lenora You knooow, I can be in the deep end of a pool and float upright, (my feet just dangling horizontal and still). Some people would look underneath me (which is a bit invasive when you are at a nudist resort) and ask me if I was floating on a noodle. I would say,…

Re in TX, You girl have a lot on your plate! Its hard to wear all the hats, but we do the best we can. Remember when you have your caregiver hat, then you balance the gym girl hat, and THEN the chef's hat? Well, I will be the first to admit that I have taken my caregivers hat and swatted my husband with it! Every so often…

I loved all my aerobic classes I have ever done! Presently we are not able to, saving money to pay the tax man and all that, but do it. Mornings are the best, and once you get in you hear and feel your body saying thanks. If they do water zumba that is a blast! If they offer a tai chi kind of class,(our aqua center had a…

Well today I figured my macros perfectly! 50% carbs/ 20% proteins/ and 29% fats. Lord knows where that 1% got to... I had figured it perfectly then dear husband reminded me that a had eaten 2 Hershey kisses at the tax lady's office. Dangnabbit! Stopped off at the grocery store to buy some artisan bread for spaghetti night.…

Hey my people... You know if we ever decide to pool our resources, buy land somewhere, each living in either cute retro trailers or tiny homes, well we could SO solve the world's problems and rule the world! I think because we celebrate our differences, and respect each others view, make me ponder these things. Of course…

Tammy in Montana, oh I love"This Is Us". It doesn't really seem like a series just getting a glimpse of a family. All the characters are so multi-dimensional. I have a goal for this month to go to bed with husband at the same time he does, so I am going to watch it today. Don't tell me what's gonnsa happen (la-la LA can't…

Sharon in Canada. Awe, everyone is different and have their own personal space specifications. I suppose living in Japan for 7 years has something to do with it. Absolutely no personal bubbles there! I have a theory that I meet a new person every day. (Just now in this laundromat I talked to a guy that we see walk daily to…
