PS, I should have added that I used to binge eat, sneak eat, do all kinds of crazy things with food. OA helped me. I have been "clean" for three years. xoxo

These compulsive behaviors are nothing to be ashamed of, but your awareness is good. What you are doing is addictive behavior that some use to escape. There is help, it you are willing to seek it. www.oa.org has lots of info that could help you. Best wishes!

The real question is why do you want to binge on weekends? Or at all? This could be a sign of a food addiction. Check out www.oa.org.

Just tell him the truth. If I was a parent, I probably wouldn't do the whole Santa thing. I would tell them it's a story. Everyone has their own choice.

I've lost and gained, doing various things, years and years of therapy, and finally I tried OA (Overeaters Anonymous) and it's the ONLY thing that has kept me binge free. Binging is an eating disorder and it needs real treatment. 12 step programs ( based on Alcoholics Anonymous) have worked for millions. Including me. It's…

You're great looking at any weight, but great job on your loss.

Food addiction is real, just like alcoholism or a drug addiction. I am a recovering food addict/compulsive overeater in a 12 step program, but I will never be "cured". I have an effed up mind when it comes to food, an obession, an illness. Food addiction is an eating disorder. Some people have bulimia, some anorexia, some…

How many calories are you eating every day and how did you determine that amount? I'm wondering perhaps if you are eating too little and your body is in starvation mode and therefore holding on to what's it got. Also, how much water are you drinking? And how many calories are you exhuming per week in exercise?

Have you consulted with a doctor or a nutritionist on your weight goal? Maybe you don't need to lose any more.

I agree about the trainer sounding a little extreme............ However, here are some options other than veggies, dairy, nuts, fruit, and low in sugar (I hope!) Baked tofu (home make) Kale chips (home make) plain, unsalted, unbuttered popcorn (but this has carbs) Hell, I don't know. there's too many restrictions. If she is…

I can't believe some of the responses--how old are the people posting!? Rejecting a food item is in no way connected to rejecting a partner. Don't compare yourself to wine or a donut. It's a whole different ball game. What she eats is a personal choice. Her capacity to diet does not say anything about her capacity to love…

Out of those, multi grain cheerios, but really none of those are very nutritionally sound!
