I have to say that I've lost 67lbs at 55 doing 2100 calories a day, and just walking. I rarely eat all 2100 each day, but I think I've done alright.

Everything in moderation.. if all you do is deny yourself everything you like, you'll eventually eat it all anyway.

I think (for most people) your weight at some point bounces up and down some.. I know it does for me; I just keep to my routine, and find that it's back down on a reducing trend again. I know that when you eat too little, you can gain weight. Just my .02 worth.. I wouldn't stress about it too much.
