  • This happens to me, too. I found that if I get on the stretching machines and stretch out my legs prior to getting on the eliptical or treadmill it isn't as noticeable. Also, I bought a pair of shoes that were a whole size too big.
  • Sounds like you are doing an incredible job! I've been working with a trainer and working out 3-5 times a week for the past 7 weeks and have only lost 7pounds. I was really discouraged until she told me that I was right on track and losing it slowly will keep it off. Don't make your 5 pounds a big deal, you can lose them…
  • Hi Beverly, Andi here. I'm 41 and have been back at it for a month with few lost pounds, but several centemers gone. I'm in Texas and could use some more supportive friends on here.
  • Don't focus on the pounds, focus on the inches! I've been burning around 500 calories a day and my calorie intake has been under 1200 - my trainer told me to add a 200 calorie snack to my day like an apple with peanut butter. 13 pounds is nothing to scoff at, BTW.

  • Yes! I've been the exact same way! I turned 40 last year and it was really difficult for me, I felt like I've already been the cutest I'll ever be and i will never be that cute again! So this year, after I hit 41 I decided to take charge and drop all the weight I've gained since getting married. I feel a lot more confident…
  • Hi Brandi, I'm Andi! You can add me as well. I just got serious about this on May 1st, so i am relatively new here as well.

  • Hi Mel, Andi here. I've been a member for a while, but just got serious on May 1st when I started working with a personal trainer. I too am tired of feeling fat & having no energy. I would love to have some friends on here to help encourage and support me & I'd like to do the same. Please add me as a friend as well.
