  • Yay! Glad to see so many of you joining already. Let's see if we can get more! Feel free to recruit your WLS friends to join this group and the challenge as well. The more members, the merrier! Good luck everyone!
  • I also weigh my food. It's much more accurate :)
  • Welcome to the group! Glad to have you here! As far as periods go, I agree, every single person is different on this. WLS seems to really mess with that. Some people have them constantly, some not at all, some are off track, etc. Me, on the other hand, have never had mine be on a normal schedule, but ever since surgery…
  • Wow!!! You look awesome! Nice job!
  • Let's here some more numbers from everyone who joined!
  • Yay sounds good!
  • I think I'm officially out of the honeymoon phase now. Time to make my future goals more realistic for me. This whole time I thought my goal was 165 so I thought I got close, but I just checked and it was 160 so I'm further than I thought. Sad. Oh well, just gotta keep busting my butt and staying on track! I only lost a…
  • Alright, everyone! Tomorrow is March 1st! Be sure to check in tomorrow and let us know your starting weight, goal weight, and current weight! Don't feel discouraged if you don't meet your goal. As long as you know you worked towards it, that's what will REALLY matter in the end! I'm not expecting to see my goal, but I know…
  • Good for you! That sounds awesome! I started day 1 last night and I feel pretty darn good about it!
  • Which is also about half of most greek yogurts :)
  • I'm eating the banana cream at the moment and it has 7 grams of sugar :)
  • Dannon Light & Fit greek yogurt! It's SO yummy! I normally HATE greek yogurt but this stuff is fantastic. I've found that different stores carry different flavors. There's good ones like banana cream, toasted coconut, raspberry chocolate, strawberry cheesecake, key lime pie, etc. They seem to be the healthiest and most…
  • I need to try the tortellini soup! That sounds AMAZING!
  • I had mine done by Dr. Jeffrey Baker at Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minnesota (not too far from Canada!) and he was AMAZING!!!
  • Congratulations! I know how exciting that is! I was soooo nervous waiting for the approval process but I only had to wait 3 days thankfully! I also agree with taking progress pictures. I have 1 pictures of me prior to surgery (I stayed out of pictures unless it was just my face) and took very few along the way. You should…
  • I still have yet to learn how to cook in small amounts! Luckily for me my husband eats a boatload of food hahaha. I also like to measure out my food, put it in tupperware, and freeze it. I'll take it out of the freezer the night before then grab it and go and just heat it up at work. It works pretty well. I offer no advice…
  • It'd be unusual if you DIDNT hit a stall :) A couple weeks after surgery I stalled for almost a month. I know how frustrating it, but keep up the good work and you will get past it and start dropping weight like crazy!
  • Just reading the word jello makes me ill now lol. I've never touched the stuff again since the beginning stage after surgery. Congrats on your surgery, Eric! Welcome to the new you! I struggled the first couple weeks, but soon enough it'll be well worth it!
  • March challenge check-in is on Saturday!!! Can't wait to see how everyone did! It will be unlikely that I will hit my goal, but I know I worked my butt off anyway and that's what really matters!
  • I'm close to my goal but I don't think I'll quite make it. But being close is just fine with me too! I've been sick and injured so I haven't been doing well with my kickboxing classes, so I blame that haha ;) Just over a week to go!
  • Good luck!!! Onderland is such an amazing sense of accomplishment!
  • I agree with Rubi as well!
  • We just have a week and a half to go till the end of the challenge! Please still feel free to join even if it's during the last week! Every little bit counts! After this challenge is over, I will start up a May 1st challenge for those of you that are up for another round or didn't join this one!
  • I am in love with anything that involves being outside! Whether it's playing at the park with my daughter or just sitting and relaxing. As long as I'm outside, I'm happy. Oooh, and grilling of course! I just bought a bike a few days ago and am extremely excited to start biking now that I can physically do it!
