Let's get some more people pumped up and motivated to join this challenge! We still have a month to go! I'd love to see more people join! This helps us all stay accountable and motivated!
-
Wow! Congratulations! You're doing an amazing job! Keep it up!
-
Yep, the challenge is to set a goal for what you want your weight to be by March 1st :) We do a challenge every couple months to help all of you set short term goals and keep you motivated! The next challenge will be a May Day Challenge after this one is over :)
-
These challenges are made to set short-term goals that help keep you positive and motivated towards your main goal! I hope everyone is doing well! I haven't lost much at all, but that's ok. I know I'm working my butt of at it every day! Just over 1 month to go!!!

I'm 8 months out (RNY) and I can eat anything. I don't have issues with anything including rice, pasta, or bread. I eat very little of these however. Although I do eat whole wheat pasta when I'm craving some spaghetti :) Pretty thankful on being able to eat rice because sushi is my favorite food!

I'm at a plateau and haven't lost a single pound. But I'm ok with that! I'm losing inches! I changed up my workouts a bit by going to more than just one class. Been trying to get 2 class in each day at least 2-3 times per week :)

My resolutions are to eat more fruits and (especially) veggies. To this day, I still suck at this! It doesn't help that I don't like most vegetables, but I'm trying to force myself to eat them. The ones I DO like aren't very good for me. My fitness goal is to become a kickboxing instructor, where I currently take classes,…

See, now I think I have the best surgeon! Haha, so glad we all had amazing surgeons! I just realized I said I had RNY on March 13th...I meant May 13th. Oops on typing!

Thanks everyone for joining! Let's get some more people in this challenge!
-
Yay! It always makes my day when I see more people joining the challenge. I love these challenges because it helps us hold accountability and keeps us motivated!
-
Yes, you should definitely go see your doctor.
-
People will sometimes share how far along they are, but we mainly leave it for a big 2 month surprise :)

I joined MFP a little over a year ago and have been very active since! I love doing challenges to help myself and others stay motivated. I had RNY March 13th, 2013. I was pre-diabetic and on a large number of asthma medications and inhalers prior to losing weight. I am no longer on any asthma medications and am no longer…
-
Omg I need to try this!
-
Yay! Glad to see all of you joining this challenge! I will continue doing these challenges every 2 months :) It is great motivation!
-
I would suggest contacting your bariatric doctor if you feel that way. I'm not sure what most of that stuff is that you're eating, but I could only eat about one ounce per meal at 1 month post oop.

I had RNY, so I'm not a whole lot of help when it comes to band questions. I think (don't quote me on this) that RNY patients have different vitamin requirements since we do not absorb things properly anymore. Can someone put in some input on this? But we're glad to have you here! It's a great place for support and we've…

How did everyone else do? Still waiting to hear from most of you! :)
-
That's very normal! It happens to all of us and it will happen throughout your journey. I know it's pretty annoying, but the plateau will pass and you'll start losing again :)
-
Wow, that is impressive! Good for you! I totally failed at the holiday sweets lol
-
You guys are doing awesome! SW: 198 GW: 185 Current weight..........175! I feel so amazing for pushing it past! Especially considering the 2 holidays during this challenge. Can't wait to see everyone's results!
-
I had to rely on my lazy boy recliner for a couple weeks. laying down made my stomach muscles hurt. The recliner is the only thing that I found comfortable :)
-
Glad to see people joining! Weigh-in day is tomorrow! Happy new years to us all! I hope you all have a wonderful and safe night tonight!
-
Just a few more days! I'm pretty excited to see how everyone does!
-
I'm counting down the days! I can't wait to see everyone's results! Just remember: Even if you may not reach your goal, you still accepted this challenge and went for it anyway! That's a lot more than most people can say! Be proud of yourself no matter what the numbers say!
-
I would highly recommend Quest bars as well :) They are SO good for you and there are a ton of flavors to choose from to find one(s) you like!
-
You should definitely be taking sublingual B12 :) They're easy to dissolve under the tongue and they taste good too. This is the kind I take! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051OM00S/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I experienced this myself. It was especially hard once I went back to work. I'm not totally sure how long it lasted. I think about 1-2 months, but it will go away :)
-
I had RNY and in the beginning I was always told I should average about 2 pounds/week :)
-
2.5 weeks till the challenge is over. Cant wait to hear everyones results! I'm still pushing and working out 6 days/week :)
