I'm usually OK except for Thursday night. It's always a very long day for me. I don't keep junk food in the apartment but I will go hit the Dollar Tree chip aisle and buy Potato Skin chips to try to keep myself going. No eating junk on Thursday is my challenge!

They are wonderful. The skin is thin so you don't need to peel them. Koru from NZ are great too!

I'm right under 5'2", at the time I was around 170 pounds and my doctor advised to eat 800 calories. I had thyroid radiation that year and was gaining & gaining. I was on WW at the time and was 100% complaint (Winning Points) but still gaining. (I wasn't "gaming" the WW system either by eating low point junk either. I had…

I would up your calories closer to 3500 then gradually lower them as you lose weight. Watch your sodium. Keep it under 2500 mg per day initially and then lower it until you are under 2000 mg per day. Get checked for metabolic disorders like thyroid and diabetes. Good Luck! :)

Seriously you should be paid for this post!

Wow they are $2.99/lb here usually $3.99/lb. At the bent and dent they are .70/lb but they are bruised so not great for keeping in the fridge. Enjoy! I bought a lot last April, set my fridge on a low setting and they are still good!

Try gatorade see if that helps.

If your levels are normal and you still continue to gain/cannot loose then ask about adding a small dose of Cytomel or T3. (I found keeping my goals to stick with my goals like calories and fitness time vs the scale helps me stay compliant.)

I really like the weekly report of the exercise minutes - I use that as my positive reinforcement instead of the scale. It helps too because I see how much adding an aerobics class like Zumba (even part of the class) makes on my minutes that week.

After ten years of this - I don't weight myself frequently. This time I made "show up to exercise" my goal instead of weight loss. I need to lose about 120 lbs though. If I see the scale not moving the I will feel unmotivated. It's so hard with hypo..hang in there everyone. :)

Equestrian, the horses are so beautiful. I would probably need a Valium before getting on a galloping horse though. ;)

That is a great suggestion, check out the hospital rehab and fitness centers.

I agree with the water. There are classes but he could just moving in the shallow end. There are also flotation belts for the deeper water if he prefers that. Some pools are kept at a temp cooler for swimmers and some are warmer for rehab. If you have a choice try to go to the warmer one.

I need help positioning is why I ask them for help. I was hoping to do the BFL journal where you start out light and keep increasing it. Both times I've insisted on dumbbells they gave me such a hard time I was happy to finish 1 set with them. Twice they would not help me unless I used the machines. I refuse to use them…

I've hard the hardest time trying to get the fitness coaches to help me with dumbbells. I want to do upper body exercises with light (5 - 8 lbs) with dumbells. Twice they put me on machines despite me protesting it. I quit trying to use the weight room but I went back today. Today was the third one that was insisting I use…
