I don't think it tastes like almonds. I drink the unsweetened vanilla and I find it very close to regular milk. I can't drink cow milk any more due to stomach problems. The chocolate almond milk is great too! Rice milk is thin, I'm not a fan of using it for cereal but it's great for smoothies. It's sweeter than almond. Soy…

I had to go off of dairy due to my gallbladder and I actually couldn't do soy products either. I use rice milk cheeses found at Whole Foods (Rice Shreds) in cheddar and mozzerella, and I like unsweetened almond milk for cereal (vanilla). I also drink the chocolate almond milk. Rice milk is good but a little watery. There…

I think you'll find that you'll eat healthier by doing this and nurishing your body up until your wedding is good - helps with stress to be healthy! Water is the best thing for your skin too!! Congrats!

It's important to eat probably every 3-5 hours, it keeps your metabolism going. Snacks are good - almonds, fruit, 100 calorie items. If you're hungry a lot like me, the excercise calories are a motivator because I eat up to my calories and want something else! HA! Or if you want to have a splurge, then execercise is…

We eat a lot of mahi, salmon, 97/3 turkey, chicken. We do pork occassionally and steak occassionaly typically in 4oz servings. Canadian bacon is actually lower and black forrest ham is not bad. Just measure.

Great job Heather!!!

How do you drink that much not slosh when you walk? I try to drink a glass, but still feel sloshy. HA!

Some days the exercise mojo just leaves the building - regardless of what you're doing (running, weights, rowing, biking)... it will come back. When you find you're having a bad run day, I say put on the tunes and dance around the house... who doesn't love to shake their groove thing! It can't fail to cheer you up.…

I didn't think your diary was too bad actually. I'm sure you miss your juicer though!

That's weird. My fiance uses a Bowflex and enters strength training and gets excercise calories. Usually it asks him for the time spent doing strength training. I don't think he uses the actual phrase Bowflex though. It comes up as "Strength Training, Weight Lifting, Weight Training."

Counseling services on campus are typically free and the health center typically have nutritionists to help with eating disorders.

You can't base anything on a few photos. Cameras are the most unreliable source of weight. Base it on your measurements, how your clothes fit, and how you feel.

Pet obesity is also up in the U.S. so think of it as a pooch workout session. HA! :) We don't get enough time with our pets on this Earth, so I always try to cherish the little things like that because some day far too soon those moments will be gone.

Sometimes. Other times the default count is correct.

Water and a half a protein bar before going to any food events - helps keep the munching down as I feel more full. And I agree, sample things you like. (Sample being the operative word there.)

It will change how you view food and understand nutrition/portions. It's amazing and fun! Good luck!!

Wii EA Sports Fitness - the squats are a killer! I recommend wearing your iPod though when you do the "game". I can't stand their music. HA! Biggest Loser also has a huge line of DVDs at Wal-Mart.

It is frustrating to try and eat out and be healthy. Even when you order something innocent like fish or veggies, they're cooked in butter! ARG! We do spend a lot more on groceries, but as the old saying goes - you get what you pay for.

I'd try one and then take them to work and share with everyone else! :)

People typically ask to show that they're proud of you and/or to find out how you did it because everyone seems to battle the bulge. Just talk about MFP instead of your weight!! I'm sure MFP's marketing team will appreciate it.

Exactly!!

That's awesome! I want to lose about 60, so that's great inspiration! Thank you for sharing. :)

Eat Amy's frozen meals instead - they're more all natural.

Is it to symbolize a fist bump?? I'm not sure I haven't seen it.

You have to carve time out for yourself. Your day is probably filled with caring for everyone but yourself - you need to take just 15 or 30 minutes that is for you. It may sound tough, but in the long run it will make all the difference. Sweets are easy to reach for but so is fruit or nuts or cheese sticks or greek yogurt.…

More protein in your day and drinking water will help with the hungries. Try adding protein powder to your smoothies (if you don't already).

Complex carbs for energy plus some protein. Protein after too to help your muscles. Don't forget the water!

Portion control is counting calories really - just in a different frame of mind. If it makes you less stressed out and it works, why not! Calorie counting in the beginning just helps people learn what servings are and where hidden calories are. After awhile you can just do it in your head because you know what portions…
