Not necessarily.....you can vary intensity according to any number of variables. It's a lot to assume someone's workouts weak just because they can do a leg workout after a run one day....

honestly, just get out there and run. you'll probably be surprised that you run faster than you trained. I did a 6k on St. Pats and finished it in 52:00, which was faster than I'd expected. You get 2nd winds you didn't knew existed. 5k time was just over 24m. I'm 31.

try walking outside yet? I love being outside. i can run 5 miles outside, but can't do a tenth of a mile on a treadmill or anything like it....

Listening to your body trumps all, in my opinion. I've honestly had days where I'm under by that much and days I'm over by that much *usually weekend days when i'm over haha* .....but I'm sure as heck not going to make myself eat food for the sake of eating.

Deana, I'm always under too....sometimes a LOT, a lot. Like 3-700 calories. I eat when I'm hungry, . . . .weekends i tend to go over by a bit....it seems to be working out......I'm sure as heck not going to eat just to satisfy a number......

umm absolutely flippin ravenous. this month i ate so much i made myself feel sick. so much fun, good news is when the stupid thing is finally over, i drop like 4 pounds of bloat weight overnight. makes me miserable though. just try to eat healthfully and know it will pass. ugggh!
