I am with you too. I have gained back some of the weight I lost over a year ago (not all thankfully) and I am ready for a new re-committed effort. I am finding that smaller goals, like X pounds in 4 weeks is much less overwhelming than X pounds by summer, next year, etc. Feel free to add me as a friend.

I quit drinking Mtn Dew cold turkey 11 days ago and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was drinking 3-4 cans a day. I do get cravings and it is hard when going out. I use the Wal-Mart brand version of the liquid flavors......cheaper than Mio and sweetened with Sucralose.

I also am eating real food. I haven't been doing this long and tracking on MFP really helps. I don't use prepackaged stuff, also because of the sodium. Many of my foods have be substituted with healthier options, like whole grain and fiber rich versions, but typically nothing low-cal or fat-free. I am succeeding by…
