We're off on holiday at the end of August so would like to lose 14 lb by then at least. Next year (September) is our 5th wedding anniversary and we want to go somewhere special. I really want to be in better shape and weigh less by then, so please add me and we can help each other.

I have a lot to lose and I would love somebody to say something encouraging. I hate going to the gym with all the skinny minnies who mostly look down their nose at me because I'm fat. Thanks you for the reply. This is what is confusing me. Websites I've looked at say nobody should eat below 1200 cals but other places say don't go below BMR which my bathroom scales say is 1530, so not far off scoobys. I'm a former WW as well. Never felt I was getting anywhere and was totally fed up counting points. MFP and my fitbit have given me so much more hope that I will reach my goal. I have a long way to go but in two weeks I have lost 5 lbs and feel more in control
