Feel better Sweets and stay safe. As for the stomach bug, you sure it's not just nerves from the Irene BS? Sorry you're not feeling well. That sucks.

Welp, I have some not so great news. Last week we actively had 10 people (including me) participating. This week, it's pretty much who's posting. I've checked in with members and 500lbs2marathon is helping out, just hasn't been posting. Here's a recap of what we have remaining as of today (Saturday). Crunches - 1,700 (85…

I was about to say the same thing. I was going through this about a year ago and had some blood work done...major low iron. Spinach has become my best friend LOL

Poor nutrition. Are you eating enough? That's the only time I've ever heard of hair loss during weight loss. I would suggest seeing your doc.

What do ya'll think of Warpath Warriors? Anyone know who to translate this into some type of American Indian language or another tribal language?

I'm super glad to see that this challenge has benefited you :) As for the HRM, I would definitely suggest getting one. I purchased mine off of Amazon for about $60. It's a Polar FT4 and comes with the chest strap. Whatever one you do end up getting, make sure it has the chest strap. I like the team name too!

We have until 8/30 to complete all of them. Soooo, if you were beginning to to them today, it would be an additional 50 each day per person. I think that's right LOL 4000 / 10 people = 400 total / 8 days = 50 per day

So far, we have 10 people "actively" participating on our team. I can't believe we lost over half of the team. I say we try to split everything equally amongst all of us, and if we have some teammates that show back up, that would be great. I just hope I didn't "scare" anyone away LOL I just sent Gary a message to find out…

I'm starting my 4th week of it tomorrow. Otherwise, I'd love to :) Feel free to add me though!

Is this your first time really working out continuously? If so, most people's bodies retain water during the first week or so. Also with Insanity, I'm in my second round of it...I noticed with myself I didn't drop a whole ton of weight, but my body fat percentage has dropped and I lost a shaton of inches. You build a lot…

I'm in my second round of Insanity. Currently in week 3. Feel free to add me :)

Any challenge, crunches included, is over and above what is in your normal exercise routine for THAT DAY.

I don't know if you watch it, but start watching your sodium. Also, I've found that if I eat all of my calories prior to 6 p.m. I will see a drop. If I eat after 6, even if it's within my calories, you can just about forget seeing a nice number on the scale. Just a thought. I don't know what your eating habits (time wise)…

First, let me just say that I love your commitment! You rock and keep it up  Second, for the team 4000 since we are down to 18 people, of which I'm still questioning a few of them, I think to make it to the 4000, the 18 will need to do 223 per person which isn't much at all. I had planned on bustin' out 100 a day…

It has been brought to my attention that an additional challenge for this week has been brought  Let's show 'em how it's done. ADDITIONAL WEEKLY CHALLENGE! For every teammate that will commit to 1000 crunches this week I will award 10 extra points per person to that team! This could be a big point spread folks. We…

Okay, I'm going to try to answer all the questions in one post LOL Today has been rough for me catching up wise. Garage sale all flippin' weekend and so I'm playing catch up with messages, weights, the whole shebang. Bear with me. This is going to be a long one. As for the September challenge...teams will be teams of 10…

Currently we are at 88 mile for the team towards the 100. Today ended up being my rest day because I have had the headache from hell all day. I thought maybe it would subside, but it never did. I'm going to try to get anywhere from 3 to 5 miles in tomorrow morning. Have a good night guys. I'm heading to be "early". Have a…

I know caffeine is addictive and I get headaches if I don't have 1 cup of coffee a day and the people around me fear for their lives if I don't get my coffee too. In moderation, I think caffeine is okay. As for an alt. to Splenda...Truvia baby! It's made from the Stevia plant so it's natural. I love it.

You did it correctly. 4 Jumps = 1

Team, we really need to PUSH these next 2 days. Weigh in is Sunday and we've lost another person. I know we can do this. We have 25.1 miles left for the 100 miles. Drink that water, watch your sodium and push yourself during your workouts. Remember, "Ninety percent of the game is half mental." ~ Yogi Berra Let's BRING IT!
-
Good for you :) You deserve it. I think everyone should allow themselves one day a week. It kind of brings me back to reality that even though this is a "life style change", I can still splurge every now and again. Enjoy!!!

Avenged Sevenfold, Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, Eminem (Lose Yourself), Matchbox Twenty (How Far We've Come). I like a lot of alternative and heavier music during the run, then I need Lose Yourself and How Far We've Come at the end of the run.
