I'm Dominican American both my parents were born in the Dominican Republic. I usually always say I'm just Dominican, I always identified more with that side of me but I find myself embracing my American side more :bigsmile:

I have a 3 year old daughter as well and it's very difficult for me to separate who I am as an individual and who I am as a mom. I was always taught growing up that once you have kids you have to forget about yourself. As an adult with a child of my own now I know how wrong that was. How will I teach my daughter to love…
