I absolutely did not mean you Sorry, English was not my best class in school.

Exactly. Thank you Stephanie And yes I acknowledge the post I referred to are not health or fitness related. Just simply posts I don't want to see. And they come back over and over and over... To stay on topic I would say the idea that you must eat clean in order to lose weight.

What happened to number 4? I will respectfully disagree on number 3. I had one for 7 years and he did wonders for me. The one I would like to see go away isn't a myth. Its the OP who keeps creating new profiles every couple of days and posts a dozen or so times in about 10 minutes selling Tarot card reading or other…

I did miscalculate a cup vs 2/3 but the nutella is more than 465. My jar says 2 tbsp. is 200 calories 2/3 cup = 10.7 tbsp. that makes is 1080 calories.
-
The Nutella alone is 1600 calories total.

You appear to eat a lot of frozen/prepared foods. Get a food scale- they are fairly cheap. Weigh everything. Its much more accurate than measuring cups. Learn to make your own meals. I understand you may be busy. Perhaps making some meals on the weekends and freezing them for later in the week. Lots of healthy meals can be…

So we should stop buying pre-made dressings?? These dressings sound easy and good. Thanks for sharing

The calories posted are per serving, not for the whole thing. [/quote] Well to me that was not clear. Usually when nutrition info is given its per serving If its only 110 then no need to make in 6 servings vs 4.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this!! You have some great advice. My advice is to try Kohls if there is one near you. And look for more simple cuts that can possibly be tailored as you lose weight Two black pants/skirts should be your base. Then add blouses/sweaters Navy is also a good choice Congratulations on your new job.

You stated you used jars. Like small canning jars? I ask as I am curious how big the serving is. As its a bit higher nutritionally I was wondering if making more than 4 servings would be reasonable.
-
This is great. Will have to see if I can find that around here.

Put foods you really use under the my foods tab. I am unsure if there is a limit to these but that is what I do so I don't have to search through all the incorrect user entered items in the database. Unfortunately though this list is not in any kind of order- neither alphabetical nor by date. But its better than the…

I would but I don't live in Maryland anymore. Oh, and I love the last idea about sucking up the egg yolks. Will have to try that sometime.

I agree with most of what has been suggested. 1. Don't give up any individual food group unless you can do it the rest of your life- like you have meat. So eat sugar, dairy etc if you want to 2. Drink plenty of water. More than 64oz if you can 3. If you can afford a Fitbit it would be a good option to add in to see what…

I drink a protein smoothie once a day about 3 days a week post work out. Usually on strength training days. But then I eat lots of protein, grains, fruit, veggies etc for balance. I would only caution you to be sure you are getting plenty of protein post workouts and carbs pre workout to be sure you have the energy for…

Just a question. Are you eating any real food or only drinking shakes?

apples with peanut butter vanilla greek yogurt almonds - love the wasabi from blue diamond KIND whole grain bars Fiber plus chocolate chip bars when I want chocolate fresh fruit cheese- love horseradish

yes but it is really not palatable in my opinion. I have to mix it with regular to be able to eat it. (low sodium version) However, I cannot recall what brand it was as I was living in MA at the time. I have not seen it since I moved to NY
-
To me every brand tastes different and so I only purchase one or two kinds now. So it may be just the brand or two you tried. And be warned, the low sodium kind is awful, imo. I can't find it now but when I bought it I mixed it 50/50 with a regular one so it was healthier. I add fruit or cinnamon or just eat it plain If…

I started running four months ago while in the 280s. I joined Fleet Feet which has a nationwide running program with lots of levels. I started with c25k but felt it wasn't right for me. I like the group workouts we do twice a week and then we have homework runs we do on our own time. Its 12 weeks and is an interval program…

Have you done any measurements? How are your clothes fitting? I started running 4 months ago working up to my current 3-4 miles/day 3-4 days a week. I have actually gained about 5 pounds but have gone down about 3 dress sizes and 2 pants sizes. So you may not feel different but if you are having positive changes in these…

I typically pay $100-125 Be sure to try on lots of different kinds. Hopefully you can take a brief walk/run in them. So much better than just walking around the store. I didn't look to see where you live. If in the US and you have a Fleet Feet store around you, see if they have any trial nights. The one I go to has free…

Sorry I have no advice for you I have not been in a pool in years but want to get back to it to hopefully make my legs stronger for running. The local running store where I am learning to run also does an 8 week swimming program. I hope to participate this summer but will read through all of these posts to get some ideas…

Don't wear anything cotton next to your body ( So you will need to read labels.) It may not stop it but it should help. But be proud of the sweat. Wear it like a badge of honor!!!

I haven't had too many bad experiences with interviews- from either side but am always surprised at how some people come dressed. But as I have prepared in the past there are some pretty wacky questions they say to be prepared for. My favorite is "What color is your brain" There was also one about filling a pool with ping…
