I'm on my second Mirena IUD, I LOVE IT !!!!! No periods, no cramps, no hormonal fluctuations, no sugar cravings at 'that time of the month'. I have had a gf who tried one, and it didn't agree with her, so it's a personal choice, but i personally would give it a go if you have the opportunity

I have between 1200 and 1340 cals per day, I exercise between 200 and 700 cals per day, most days I don't eat back my calories, unless I'm particularly hungry, and I've lost 17kgs since August...so yeah, it's working for me, easily...and I feel great

I'm 5'5"....I'm 52 yrs old though, so probably won't get as low as you girls, I'm worried I'll look drawn and haggard. I started at 190lbs, am now 149lbs...and am aiming for 138lbs. But if I look drawn before that, I'll stop, and if I get away with losing a couple more pounds then I will.

wow, good going, I'm getting close to my goal, and am quite apprehensive about the 'maintenance'. It's easy to lose it...well not easy, but easy to count the cals to lose it, but I wouldn't have a clue how much I should eat to stay at the right weight for me.
