This is SO my thread. Okay, as far as I am concerned I am nothing without my morning coffee. 2 cups. I drink one the way I like it (4 tbsp sf creamer) and one black because that's how much caffeine I truly require to get my butt out of bed.

nice job, you look great! I hope I look half as good as you when I get there!

I get frustrated by the abuse of the public daily, and our recurrent acceptance of such treatment. seriously, what is with the diet pills, non-sustainable weight loss regimens, 30-day and 90-day this/that, all of which come to an end leaving people without recourse only to regain the pounds having learned nothing about…

I am also very excited to try these. YUM! might make some with sausage or chicken for my husband :)

invite a friend over for spa night, do your hair, you know, paint your nails. everyone deserves a break.

when my cupboards are bare and I'm struggling with emotional issues also, I try to grab the good food and not think about it too much - go to subway get a 6" turkey for lunch and diet soda, and reward myself with a movie or a piece of inexpensive jewelry, or a haircut or something else non-food that gives me a break from…

how long can a person waste her life feeling self-loathing? I have no idea, let's not find out anymore! Add me as your friend!

I was the golden child soon replaced my crown with a dunce's cap. been wearing it for like a decade. Eff it! I am so done. Out with the old, on with the new!

i'm a student, nursing also, lotsa stress, long hours, absurdity abounds; This is my 3rd degree i've never been so stressed.
-
wow, i see you already do that. okay. reading some posts, i just had to say, you know, nurses suffer the same as we all do. we non-nurses see obesity everyday, but obviously guilt never works. true change only comes from love. fear can inspire momentary change of course but lasting change only comes from love. so make a…

perhaps you might consider volunteering one day a week in a dialysis clinic? Having spent time with chronic patients, I do feel stronger in my resolve to better my situation.

would not encourage further interaction with the restaurant in question, you have too much going on there already ;) cravings, proteinuria, pregnant? sure your doc has it under control but thought i'd ask the question...stream of consciousness anyway, what to do about said addiction...hm...is it the salty? the squishy? the…

I lost 7 pounds my first week and was kinda dragging this week thinking how fast that first week went. I took a look at my progress and realized I lost 7 pounds this MONTH. No wonder I felt draggy! It's totally a fine average, like 1.6 pounds per week, which is actually quite good, but you know my first week was 7 pounds.…

interesting post. i am having difficulty picking dates and times for reaching mini goals. would be great if there was a calendar app for that on this site. Um, it looks like I lose (on average) about 0.2 pounds every day, or app. 7 pounds/month. Maybe if I put it in writing like i've seen some people do, well, it might…

seriously? professional advice? here? i would go with half. just in case they are overestimated, but just so you don't starve yourself. or just listen to yourself, are you hungry? eat some. Are you not? dont.

I think you should therefore get yourself a beautiful necklace! When my arms get awesome I am going to get one of those cuffs that go around your upper arms! I can't wait! We all have our favorite parts of ourselves don't we?

oooh! and good coffee! the only benefit besides shift differential!

Just so you know, I have a lot of respect for you and I would have given them a piece of my mind for treating you that way, I know how hard it is. You did really really well.

I had a friend who would constantly pester and my husband finally told me he thought she was a bad influence, and that hurt her feelings. So, she stopped undermining me because she didn't want to be thought of as a bad friend...maybe have a person on your side stick up for you? It's hard when it's a group of girls, but…

what is isagenix? I've never heard of it. And coming from a large family of lots of women, that's news.

yay! I was eating a slice of lemon meringue pie and thought a serving was 1/5 of the box, turned around and saw it was 1/10! thank God I only had half the slice!

depends on the pain. if it's just muscle soreness, work out light to get the lactic acid out. If it's skeletal or your joints take a break. If you feel bumps on your shins and/or the pain is in the front of your calves instead of the muscle behind your calves, could be shin splints.

*natural painkillers=endorphins from exercise, not sure if that was clear

Interesting points. I have noticed that as my new diet becomes more ingrained over time, I have to face emotions I normally diverted my attention from by replacing with other feelings brought about by eating. It is difficult to face these emotions because I am a busy girl anyways, and I am going through some family stuff.…

try raising the seatpost, it may take some of the strain off of your knees.
