I haven't really noticed either, but I ran into my neighbour who I hadn't seen for about a month, and she asked "are you losing weight?" She said she could see it right away in my face.

when my daughter was about 6 she gave her great grandmother a heart shaped box of chocolates for Valentines day. She was so excited receiving chocolates as she said no had ever given her chocolates on Valentines Day. After we ate the chocolates she put the heart shaped box in her china cabinet to keep.

I started because the doctor told me I had too. But my biggest motivator is my trainer. He has been so much help and really got me believing I could do this. And working out really does "boost" your mood!

I peel my sweet potato, cube it, put a little olive oil and rosemary and bake. Delicious! My trainer advised to try them and I love them now!

Exactly! I would stop at the grocery store deli and get a sandwich made and buy a premade salad. Or if I wasn't starving, I would buy a frozen meal to cook when I got home. I kidded myself that since I wasn't at the drive thru getting McDonalds that I was eating better. I wasn't eating hamburgers and fries, I was getting…

LOL. Same here! I keep telling my trainer to hang on a sec, as I have to pull up my big girl panties.
-
LOL. At my gym all the bike tv's are always set to the food network! I asked my trainer if they front people did this on purpose cause they thought it was funny.

Peanut butter. Everyone is always, put PB in it or on a banana, in your smoothie, on crackers. Good protein for you. Yuck.

I always assumed running on the treadmill was worse for you then outside. At my gym, people running on the treadmill are pounding away. I mean you can hear the on the other side of the gym. Just sounds so ..painful.

I have been with a personal trainer for 4 months now. I would have never done weights if it wasn't for him. (Even with him, I didn't want to go to the weight section of the gym). He encourages me and pushes me. We have become quite good friends. When I whine and say I can't do it, he gets me to do it. I have cursed and…

"If your weights aren't Bedazzled, you're doing it wrong." Love it!

I can't wait till mine are gone! Well smaller.

#1 Doctor said move it or lose it (go on medications) Joined the gym, got a PT. 4 months in I can't believe what I can do. Never thought I could do it. I actually like working out now!

I'm trying! I'm trying! I sure I will get there.

I am just starting to learn to "jog". Can now do a minute! Love all the info. It really does help.

When I'm working out with my trainer and the cute girl interrupts us to ask him for help with the weights (he's young and cute). When he politely tells them he's doing a session with me and after we are finished he can help them, they look at me and then look at him and say "but I just need some help with the weights".…

160 lbs? Damn! That's great. And you do look like a football player.
-
Thanks! I'm going to make them tomorrow.
-
Sounds delicious. I think I will make them. Can you tell me approximately how many meatballs you get and if you know the calories?
-
Thanks! I decided to learn to jog on my own (hadn't heard of C25K). I am doing most of your tips so I'm on the right path. The first couple times I was soooo out of breath, I had to lie down on the grass. LOL. But I am slowly getting better and determined to stick with it.

Wow! Good for her for talking about it.
-
I hope my sisters are that supportive when I finally lose weight.
-
yes, I watched one where they worked out with a ballet bar. Says it equals 6 hours of cardio in one hour of ballet bar. Really? I'm working with a trainer and know how much hard work you have to do. I can't believe people fall for this.
-
Yes it was very motivational. I think the first time that little light bulb goes on that I CAN do this, you really believe in yourself. I was very unsure of the weights and I aruged with the trainer for a month about it. He was very encouraging but I still didn't believe I could do it. Now he tells me what to do and I do…

I'm hoping it is the weight. I am overweight by 50 lbs so a lot of jiggling going on and I carry a lot of weight around my tummy. Hoping once I lose some weight and not so much pressure on my midsection it will get better. Course maybe I just have a tiny bladder. LOL.

Well I hope this goes away. My trainer tells me to be hydrated but I think I will skip drinking an hour before I go. Very annoying. I just get into a zone of my walk/jog and have to go! Plus I think they lock the bathrooms in the park during winter. I guess I could go to the gym but it is so much nicer outside.
