So happy for you! You look so handsome! This is inspiring and a good reminder to keep working on building muscle and track your foods.
-
You look fantastic! Congratulations on all your hard work! Any tips for staying motivated?

You look so beautiful! Amazing job! So inspiring!!!

Love that! You're a person after my own heart! I'm a pencil/paper gal.

That was a crummy thing for that person to say. You may be heavier, but at least you're not an a%#hole.
-
Wow! Congratulations! You must be so proud of/happy with yourself! You've done a tremendous thing for yourself! Also, I just want to say I'm so sorry you went through all that shame and depression. I hope you are feeling better now.

Great job!!! You look fantastic!!!

WTG!!! Such a great thing you did for yourself and your family!!!

I haven't read through all the posts (obviously, there are so many pages), but I am wondering if you lost any friends? I am not very far along in my own journey, but I notice two of my friends are acting differently around me. One seems to be WAY overcomplimenting me, almost like she's uncomfortable with me taking charge…

Leaning over the dishwasher and feeling my bra slide around ever so slightly. Made me really happy.
-
Great job!!! You did something really wonderful for yourself!!!

You all look great!!!

You look great! You have such a cute figure!

To add someone as a friend, you click on their name, then click on their name again. Then you can send a friend request. Feel free to add me as a friend! :)

I'm looking for motivated "friends" to help support and encourage each other. Feel free to friend me if you want. I am a big proponent of starting with ONE thing and focusing on that. I think 10k steps is a great place to start! I am homeschooling my 7th grader, but that's a bit easier than little ones as I can, obviously,…

P.S. Feel free to add me as a friend.

For me, the thing that seems to work is to pick ONE thing and make sure I do that every day. For example, for me, it means (well, this is technically two things), logging my foods and staying within my calorie cap. For someone else, that one thing might be drinking 8 glasses of water or exercising, or getting 12,000 steps…

That's fantastic! Don't lose steam! Re-commit yourself! You've come so far! Here's something to do: Even if you already have a list of reasons why you want to lose weight, make a new list. Pick your Top 3 or Top 10. Then post it on your bathroom mirror or above your kitchen sink. Somewhere where you can see it every day.…

Hi Steve! Welcome! Glad you are here! If you are looking for friends/support, feel free to add me!

This is funny. I've never seen this posting before. I've lost a bald eagle so far.

Thank you for sharing. I'm glad you are in a good place now. I found this comment particularly interesting: "Then the cycle started. I abused laxatives and was vomiting also. I was in this cycle until I was 19 before I literally broke and I just started eating and eating...and I stopped the compensatory behaviours like…

Did it!!! But, been hovering around 178/179 ever since I started back at school. So...my micro goals are to stay within my calorie range every day so I can get to my mini goal: 175 by the end of this month.

I want to join! MFP ID: StephanieStC Weigh-in Date: Thursday Starting weight: 181

That feels really good! Enjoy the feeling and give yourself credit for sticking to it!

Great job!!! As someone else said, you look so much more comfortable. Can you do a post about changes in mobility? Things you couldn't do before that you can do now, etc. Good luck with your last 40!

Great suggestions, muszyngr! Also, pop in an exercise DVD at 7pm. It will a) elevate your mood and b) make you really thirsty, so then you can fill up on water. Recommend the book The Beck Diet (prefer the workbook). It's not a diet, it's cognitive-behavioral method of learning to lose weight. It will give you something to…

I agree with 00markw: Your posts are an inspiration, AnnP! And you look great:smile: Thank you also for your honesty. It's really reassuring to know that, while it takes some time, most of the loose skin regains its shape. As you said, still better than being obese for so many reasons!

You don't look 59! You look A-MAZING!

Getting out of the 180s. I have 1.5 lbs to go! (This might be more of a micro goal :)

You look great! How long did it take you so far?
