Hey there. I don't count calories from my supplements and vitamins that I take (pill form). But I do count calories from flax meal and any oils. I'm not sure what UDI oil is but since its so high, i would probably count that. Good luck!

I love HITT! I don't follow any type of weight program but I'm trying to do HIIT about 2-3 times a week. You can start off slow and do some walking/jogging HIIT activities then gradually move up to walking/sprinting or jogging/sprinting. Here are 2 HITT workouts that I like:…

Don't beat yourself up over it. I work out quite a bit and the first time I did something like 30 Day Shred I only did about 15 minutes before quitting! Hang in there, it will get easier - especially once you start seeing results ;) Good luck!

Exercise is great and will help your heart and get you fit - so you are on the right track!! However - exercise only accounts for 20% of weight loss. Do you know what that means? 80% of weight loss is about your food choices. I would take a look at your diet and make sure that you are consistently making healthy food…

I agree. A couple of years ago I lost 15 pounds and everyone was telling me that I looked really skinny, and when I was dressed I could tell my clothes were really big on me. But naked, I did not see a single difference from my before body. We really do have skewed images of our body which makes it hard to noticed any…

I agree with her. It decreased my appetite but I think my loss on the pill (if any) was due to my commitment and consistency in going to the gym and laying off of the junk food. I was recently told by a GNC rep that Oxy Elite Pro is going to be banned so they are putting it on clearance. Just be careful and follow the…

Hi there! I'm right there with you on the weight loss coming back after a weekend. A few things I've found to help are: 1. Move atleast 1 of your workouts during the week to the weekend. So rather than working out M-F, maybe rest on Wednesday and move that workout to Saturday or Sunday. 2. Always be mindful of what you eat…

My daily goal is 1200 calories a day. During the week i find it easy to meet this goal. The weekends are harder, so I have incorporated working out on weekends to allow myself some extra calories throughout the day, and also give me time out of the kitchen/apartment ;) Goodluck with your goals! Feel free to follow me for…

I agree with Lora! Treat this as an opportunity to teach your kids about healthy eating and lifestyles. Before you know it, they will be on their own and they will THANK you for teaching them how to cook and eat healthy :) P.S. Could you give me your roasted red pepper soup recipe?!

Hi Chris. Wow! Cutting 1000 calories a day seems like a ton! I've read that if you cut 500 calories each day you should lose 1 pound per week. So if you are cutting 1000 calories a day, you should be losing about 2 pounds a week. I do know that alcohol is not good for trying to lose weight but I didn't know that it slowed…
