No added sugar or grains. I don't weigh, count calories or log. I keep my meals at about 75% vegetables and 25% protein.

I make a chicken salad with roasted chicken, various roasted vegetables (whatever I have on hand), thin sliced red onion, a splash of umeboshi vinegar and olive oil.

From what I was told by my doctor, as long as you cook your cruciferous vegetables it's fine.

Not low calorie but very healthy and they freeze well. http://detoxinista.com/2014/07/the-healthiest-cookies-ever-paleo-vegan/

I usually make different meals for me and my family, as we eat very differently. When making my protein, I make plenty and freeze portions so I can just pull something out, add vegetables (which I always have on hand) and I'm good to go. Right now I probably have about 10 different options in my freezer to choose from. On…

I use copymethat.com to put all my favorite recipes. It allows you to make a calendar and shopping list. It does not give calorie counts or anything like that. I don't log or count so it works really well for me.

I use Penzeys spices (usually some kind of spicy blend...I have bought many) and olive oil.
-
Kimchi

I make a roasted vegetable and egg white casserole every week for breakfast. Top it with verde chicken and salsa and never get tired of it. As far as the other meals, there's so much to do with chicken. Just change up the spices and/or sauces.
-
Batch cook in larger quantities and freeze individual portions so you always have something in house that's easy to grab.
-
Look at penzeys website. They have the best, in my opinion.

I felt great prior to being diagnosed but when I was put on synthroid, it felt horrible (lack of energy, severe lower back pain, water retention...). Recently, my dr. added cytomel as well and am feeling so much better! It has nothing to do with metabolism but as @KDar1988 said, I do avoid some foods that may mess with the…

Yes, three times a day...at least.

I roast zucchini, cauliflower, yellow squash, red peppers, red onions and asparagus. I have a bowl every afternoon mixed with kimchi.

I make this all the time in my instant pot. The directions for a pressure cooker are down at the bottom. http://www.skinnytaste.com/carne-guisada-latin-beef-stew/ This is a family favorite https://thedomesticman.com/2015/01/20/instant-stew/ As is this one http://www.pressurecookingtoday.com/pressure-cooker-mongolian-beef/

This is the first cauliflower pizza crust I have seen without loads of cheese. Does it come out crispy?
-
This is really good. I substitute almond cheese for mozzarella http://www.slenderkitchen.com/recipe/cheesy-enchilada-turkey-stuffed-peppers

You can also use them in place of eggs in many baked goods. I tablespoon chia to 3 tablespoons of water and let sit for a few minutes.
-
I forgot about spaghetti squash! I normally roast them which takes about 45 minutes. Now only 6-8 minutes (depending on the size and texture you like) and they come out great every time.
-
I could never do that, I would rather forgo the cheese and chips and never be hungry.

This is the group I was referring to https://www.facebook.com/groups/InstantPotCommunity/

It's been the best purchase I have made in a long time. I use mine constantly. I eat soup for lunch that used to take hours, now takes take 25 minutes. I make stew, pot roast, carnitas, shredded chicken/beef dishes, bone broth...even made a cheesecake. The FB group has great ideas and tons of recipes.

I live a lot! Guacamole and cheese just aren't so important in my life.
-
My husband has similar eating habits. I just made different meals for us.
-
That's how they are traditionally made... I usually get some sort of fajita without tortillas, rice, beans or any cheese, sauce or cream, a side of roasted vegetables and mix it all together with salsa.
-
I do the same and have never had a problem. I do not add any oil or anything else with the except of a pinch of salt.
