This much power? Lol yes, because it's really effected me. Not. I found it annoying, amd rude, but it hasn't had an ounce of power over me, effected my mood or made a bit of difference to my life. You sound a little judgy though, to be honest. I could be wrong. But I also don't really care. Lol

I didn't take anything personally at all. That's an odd thing to surmise. I mentioned my weight because I'm clearly not anorexic. Whether it's a small amount of food or a huge amount, it was rude to bring up and NOT drop. This wasn't a friend of mine.

No, I understand that... but a...i work at a company that pays well and it was a room of executives. Nobody was concerned that I couldn't afford more. And I weigh over 200lbs. But even if she was worried...she wouldn't stop calling attention to my lunch in front of everyone. That's just rude.

I have a medical reason and I don't have an eating disorder. Frankly though, what I eat was none of this woman's business.

Well if you are consuming a consistent amount of sodium you would lose consistently as well.

I go back to my surgeon tomorrow for my one month post op visit and I'm down 20 lbs since surgery. :)

I'm eating well under 1200 calories a day and stopped losing for about a week 2 weeks in. I also kind of freaked out a little, then read an article about why it happens and about water consumption. I drank a ton (for me, which was probably 66 oz a day) for 2 days and then...wooosh...it started falling off again.

So with that theory, could I eat all my calories for the week in one day, then fast for the rest of the week and lose the same as if I spread them out?

These weren't my doctors. One was a doc on daytime tv and the other was the director of an obesity clinic I saw being interviewed.

Ive just been reading a study that says the exact opposite. It says that intermittent fasting between meals allows your body to use stored fat as fuel.

I was told to aim for 64 grams. I have a Greek yogurt for breakfast with a scoop of genepro protein powder mixed in. Then I'll have a premier shake in the afternoon or I'll mix some chocolate whey protein powder in with a cup of unsweetened almond milk. Your friends don't have to help you. you have to help you. How you eat shouldn't concern them, good or bad, just like you shouldn't care what they eat. There will always be temptations ("triggers") in life. How you perceive them and deal with them determines your weightloss success.

I drink a lot of coffee. double espresso on my way to work, then 3 extra large cups at work and a decaf at night. I've tried to ween myself off and gave up. :)

I used to get heartburn every day. EVERY. DAY. Since starting MFP, I haven't gotten it all, except for a very mild case recently... when I was on vacation and eating much higher calorie foods.
