you look great!

here's my 90lb difference. I'm actually at 101 now though.
-
Congrats! that's something to be very proud of! (I'm wearing size 8 jeans - sometimes 6 - and size Medium tops and I'm still 10lbs away from being in the "normal" range).

3 hours a day of exercise plus walking a few miles?
-
have you been losing weight?
-
that's true. there is no reason to eat back your exercise calories... especially since you're not really losing much. additionally, many people overestimate how many calories they burn anyway.

I've lost 98lbs in 1 year and 1 week...so... almost. :) I'm a 50 year old female who doesn't have a lot of time to workout and I have a desk job. I started at 256

I am pretty sure that eating fat causes the most pain. avoid it as much as you can. Also, eat small meals, more often. I haven't had trouble losing weight since having mine removed (years and years ago) and I don't know anyone else who has either. I don't have any dietary issues either though - or none that I was aware of.…

I was logging my food religiously for a while but I ate almost the same thing every day and was losing weight rapidly. Eventually I stopped logging because the calorie count barely changed and I wasn't worried about weight coming off. Then my weight loss slowed down so i started logging again. Yup, too much snacking.…

I've lost around 95 lbs this past year. It came off fast I'm the beginning, then gradually slowed down each month. Now I lose around 3 lbs per month but the scale moves up and down all the time.
-
I HAD over 100lbs to lose... now I only need to lose 12. (I'm down around 93 so far). I'm not consistent with logging on here though.

36DDD here, but I'm not a runner (I'm a fast walker though). I love my VS sports bra. I don't know what model it is but it closes in the front and then has another layer that zips over it.

Jennygutt... sorry you're frustrated. I understand both the frustration with a weightloss stall, and coming on here hoping to find an easy, probable answer. I won't reiterate what others have said, except personally, don't even factor in how many calories your fitbit says at all. Whether it's right or wrong doesn't matter,…

so the only protein you are getting is in the 3 eggs a day? As others have said, you're getting too many calories somewhere, sometime. eating "healthy" doesn't mean you'll lose weight, and your meals don't actually look all that healthy to me. No chicken, tofu, or beans? No fruit? the only fat you get is from the half…

There's a lot of guided meditation on youtube - just search. I have used a few apps, but I usually just go back to whatever youtube videos work for me. There are some for weightloss btw. I don't know if they've helped me or not, but... I lost 91 lbs this past year, so it probably didn't hurt. :)

I've had a mirena for years. Hasn't effected my weight loss at all. I'm 50 years old and lost 86lbs in 10 months with just diet.
-
83 pounds difference in less than a year.
-
I only listen to true crime podcasts. If you need recommendations for that, I got you. :)
-
I agree with this. If you can't drink your coffee black, learn to like it dark with no sugar.
-
I'm 50 and have lost 86lbs in 8 months. very little exercise (and no herbalife! lol). you're eating too many calories - simple as that. menopause has nothing to do with it.

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I started this year at 257. At some point, I decided I'd like to end it at 170. I'm currently 174, so I don't think it's going to happen, but like you... I'm ok with it. :) You did great this year!

I write a lot of stuff about things I know very little about so that people smarter than me can invest other people's money.

I've lost 80 pounds this year. Because of a torn meniscus, walking too much is tough. I try to move or stand as much as possible but I have a long commute and a desk job. Here is a before and after. I'm 50 btw.

Thank you (and everyone who responded). I think I will get some weights or resistance bands, plus do some crunches and pushups.
-
That's not an option for me, as I live in the North East US where it's only outdoor swimming weather for 2 months out of the year, I don't have a pool, and I work full time with a 1.5-2 hour commute. I have a gym at work that I can join, or I can workout at home in the evenings. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Thank you for the response. I just saw an orthopedist about my knee and will be going for an MRI soon to determine if I need surgery. Whatever weight training I do isn't going to involve squats or deadlifts (I'm very familiar with weight training) until my knee is heeled, and even then, I'd go light.

Lose weight. Loose change. Sorry.... I'm editing all day. I can't stop now.

I started 2017 at around 260 and a size 18/20 jeans. I'm currently 175 and wearing size 10 jeans. I'm 50. I have a few bits of advice: 1. You won't succeed unless you really really want to. I mean, I know you think you do, but it's hard work and something needs to keep you motivated the whole time. It could be an event…

While I don't think you're going to die from malnutrition, I don't think you could be getting all that your body needs on 600 cals a day. If you're consuming 60 grams of protein a day, which wouldn't be very much for a guy of your height and activity, that would be around 450 calories right there. Add to that some fiber…

How long has it been since you stopped losing? How much have you lost? What's your activity level like?
