Oh my text notification is the Tardis also. :)

I can't believe I haven't run across this thread before! I'm a nerd today because I'm drinking my coffee out of my Doctor Who mug and I'm surrounded by action figures (10, Captain Jack Harkness, Darth Vader bobblehead, "Are you my mummy" kid) at my desk. Oh I have a serenity keychain on my keyring too.

Wow that is really disheartening! :(

I streamed all the episodes on Netflix but I think.. maybe TBS or one of those channels shows reruns? I'd recommend getting netflix and then you can stream to a laptop or any other portable device. Now at the gym, I use my cell phone to stream Netflix. My YMCA offers free wifi also.

I think a Who Con would be amazing and I wouldn't pass it up. The Supernatural one.. only if Sam and Dean come in character (like in that episode)!
-
Maybe we can get a prequel at least. Joss is busy with S.H.I.E.L.D and The Avengers 2 though. Maybe Goddard can sign on at least.
-
George R. R. Martin needs to get busy writing! It took 7 years before we got A Dance With Dragons! Hopefully he's spilling his secrets to someone else. The show will have caught up to him in no time!

I love you ladies!! You *get* me. If I were in the same room with Dean and Ten, I think I would just die. If there is a Supernatural Con anywhere around here, I'm totally going. And that is part of my motivation too, to not be embarassed when I take pics at Cons! We are almost caught up with Supernatural! Love that show!…

Wow you look fantastic! Way to go!

Oh neat! May have to check that one out as well!

4.94 miles on Saturday brings me to 61.87 Edges of fields worked by Farmer Maggot.

Congrats JessieKanga and Clarkeje1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dixie - I think so yes. I actually did intervals (run/walk) Saturday and that worked for me. I'm going to still take it slow and ease back into it though. Sleaux - WOW those are some long distances! You are dedicated! My husband works for Amedisys but there is no way I can do a 10K. I may sign up for the 1 mile though.…

4.07 more last night so that brings me to 54.31 Still in the trees, they stop for lunch (ca. 2:00 p.m.). Their singing is cut by the cry of a Black Rider, and they leave (ca. 3:00 p.m.).

Morning everyone! 1/29 2 miles Total = 50.24 They reach a belt of trees, mostly oaks with a few elms and ash. Drops of rain fall.

I think its a combination of the running and eating. I started C25K a few days after I started tracking and exercising. I just completed the program last week and I only repeated 1 week so it roughly took me 10 weeks to lose 24 pounds. Now even on my rest days I was in the gym going elliptical and other cardio and also…

Same here. :) I do love that show too!

Hey everyone! Just found this group! 4 and a half years ago I developed DVT's and several clots in both legs. I was hospitalized and subsequently diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome so I'm also a lifetime Coumadin/warfarin user now. My doctor likes my INR to be between 2 and 3 but lately I've been a little on…

Awesome idea with the ticker! 1/24 2.31 miles 1/26 3.33 miles 48.24 total so far. Pippin realizes it is the Stock-brook. The banks are low enough now for them to cross. The land on its south bank is wet and reedy.

I , too, just adore Sherlock! Cumberbatch's cheekbones are divine!

Yea, I'm planning on keeping up running at least 30 minutes 2 days per week and trying to work on increasing my pace and then planning on a longer run during the weekend (at least a full 5K). My plan is to do that for a while and maybe after about a month then move onto Bridge to 10K.

Awesome job!!!!!!

Thanks! Sorry I didn't see this until just now. We didn't find out the route until we got there. We started from the New Alex Box Stadium then turned right at the river, then went into the gravel parking area (ironically the same place we park for football games), made a "L" shaped loop in there then back out to River…

Ahh I haven't watched it yet. Maybe I can get to it tomorrow night!

Aww thanks! Yea, I posted a more detailed description in my blog about it but before the race I was so nervous and worried about coming in last. Once I got left in the dust and realized very soon after starting, that yes, I was going to be last there wasn't much left to do at that point than just keep on trucking along!
-
Thanks guys! I finished! Came in dead last though but there was only about 20 runners. I finished in 52 minutes and the run was 3.22 so it was a tiny bit more than the usual 3.1. The important thing is that I did it! BabyFishMouth - hehe, this was significantly smaller on the inside than I imagined! It was at New Orleans…

Go for it, HLSC!

Well since I started this thread, I thought I'd come and let you guys know that I'm running my first official 5K this morning! I'm starting to get really nervous! Just to see if I could, I did run a 5K on Monday and I did it in 52 minutes. I'm hoping for a bit better time today if I can. I took it moderately easy the rest…
