I struggle with drinking water on a daily basis. I can now easily get in 4-5 glasses, but 8 is definitely a challenge. It is hard because when I drink so much, I feel like I spend most of my day in the bathroom. I also feel like I am stuck at home, because I don't like being out and having to track down bathrooms.

No problem, I tend to be more relaxed on weekends. I get back to full force on week days. I find it easier to do when I already have to work anyway. Really makes very little sense, considering I have to work every other weekend, but it's how I am.

I think parents have the power to teach their children healthy habits, and should do this. I can say that, yes I allow my children to have treats occasionally. Me too, on the jealous side, McDonalds fries are my all time favorite fast food item. Took kids there yesterday and ordered myself a grilled chicken ceasar salad with balsomic viniagrette. I had to steal about 10 fries from the kiddos though.

I like a store called Scheel's, in Wisconsin. They will ask you what it is you intend to use the shoes for. They ask if you have any feet issues. They measure your feet. They get you more than one size and width and stick around long enough for you to find exactly what you are looking for.

I felt the same way on weight watchers. I was just always obsessed with my points, and still enjoying all my favorite foods by basically starving myself so that I could enjoy the crud. Through MFP I feel I am learning how to eat and exercise to get healthy. Feel free to invite me as a friend.

I agree, just do it, for you, not for anyone else. I've got my first 5K in Oct. for my son's school. I am already nervous, but nothing is going to stop me from doing it.

For me, it is helping. I love the support and encouragement, also motivation. In the Community setting, it is fun to read and get advice, but it's also nice to have friends who you know you can count on to help you out. It also is a sure way to keep me coming back, because I am a person who doesn't like to disappoint…

I usually drink one good size mugful of coffee a day. I like my Irish Cream in it. I think if I drank just black coffee, I'd drink much more, but the cream is pretty rich. I also drink 2-3 cans of pop a day, only diet or zero. I grew up with a type one diabetic and am now raising one, so it just has to be diet in my house.…
