Totally understand if you aren't into tofu - it's not for everyone. Have you tried tempeh? It's a fermented soy product. I had a tempeh burger once which was out of this world. Sadly, I never got the recipe from my friend before she dropped off the face of the planet.

My daughter's birthday is today. She also goes to a private school where they still allow healthy treats. One kid had a gluten allergy and I accommodated for that. My kid brought chocolate beet cupcakes and gluten free brownies. They sang happy birthday, ate the treats during lunch and got back to work.

Agree with this. I'm tracking fiber and sodium in addition to the carbs, fat and protein. I'm diabetic and hypertensive but also can't seem to lose weight if I don't get my fiber. The carbs will give you a good indicator if you are in the range for your sugar.

^^ this!! People who ask me how I'm losing weight and they aren't. I answer that I count calories and exercise they respond "Oh, I don't count calories". The loosing vs. losing thing.

I use generous amounts of half & half with one packet of stevia. One thing I do to make it extra creamy / frothy is that I whip the cream and stevia with one of those electric wire whisks before adding the coffee. I got the whisk from Ikea for $2.99 - don't get the one at Bed Bath and Beyond - it's $19 there.

Not sure if this will help you but I've had some luck with taking a tennis ball and rolling it around with my bare foot. It made getting up the next morning and walking a little better.

Two of my friends in TOPS told me that the weight loss is obvious in my face. Sort of scale related but it's a goal - finally got past the 260 pound mark. The reward was to get my hair colored - I got mistaken as my daughter's grandma twice in the past month.

This is really good advice. One always hopes that their spouse/partner is as happy in the relationship as they are or want to be. It does hurt when you are neglected though. Humans need love, affection and feeling significant. I hope you find a positive solution.
