I have 106 lbs to lose to my goal (starting today) so anyone please feel free to add me as well!

When I eat a Quest bar I search for the net carb listing in MFP and enter that instead of the total carb listing.

Going low carb has actually helped my arthritic pain to the point that I rarely have any pain in my hands and joints anymore. It took about a month or so going low carb before I noticed I wasn't in pain all of the time. Coincidence? Maybe, but I feel great and if it's because of lowering my carbs that I am pain free then…

I believe this. I've noticed I feel a bit lightheaded at times after a good workout so I've been eating a bit of beef jerky afterwards and feeling goes away fairly quickly.

I will have to give that a try...thanks! Does it matter how much magnesium you take?

I was just about to post about not being able to fall asleep at night lately and I saw this post. Interesting info about the cortisol... I haven't been doing IF so I am not sure why all of a sudden I cannot fall asleep easily. I started back at LCHF on May 26th. I was going to start eating something small later at night…

I stay under 20 grams each day and sometimes I have one serving of strawberries which is about 40 grams (@ 1.4 ounces) if I am on the lower end of those 20 grams.

Anyone feel free to add me too!

Anyone feel free to add me as well. I'm always on the lookout for other low carbers on MFP.

I am by no means an expert on Keto but I've been doing it since August and have lost 24 lbs so far keeping my carbs under 20g/day. How is your water intake? I know for myself that if I don't drink between 80-100 ounces of water a day I either see a slight increase on the scale or nothing at all. I've tried to pay more…

The Quest site has them for $2.39/bar and you can get free shipping now if you use promo code 'OnAQuest'. Just put my order in now.

It might help if you opened up your diary for others to see and take a look at what you are eating everyday.

Just bought PiYo and am excited for it to arrive. I love Beachbody workouts! I like that there is no jumping in PiYo so I can do it early in the morning and not wake anyone up.

Hi! I just started with low carb this week (8/4 was my first day) and I've dropped 5 lbs already. Yes, I know it's water weight but it's a great motivator for me. I keep my carbs less than 60 g/day. My diary is open if you'd like to take a look. Feel free to add me to!

Just a thought but did you rinse off the romaine and spinach before eating it? There have been so many instances of ecoli in bagged spinach that I triple wash ALL lettuce anymore. Maybe that could be the cause of the sudden need to go...?

I'm 35, 2 kids, I work full-time and go to school part-time. I am an emotional eater and am tired of being overweight. I'm ready for the change so feel free to add me! Having friends on this site definitely keeps you accountable.

Thank you! That link was helpful and you are right. Any time I've tried to lose weight for an event I've always lost motivation as soon as it was over. I need to focus on doing this to be healthy.

I do need to work on my mind and the mental issues I have with losing wieght. I'm not sure where or why I have them but I know they are there and always have been. I do need to stop hiding behind food and excuses so thank you for the advice! I'm really glad I decided to finally post.

I guess I never really thought about taking one step at a time (as silly as that sounds). I've just always jumped in head first. Thank you!!

I would have been banned for life from Panera because I probably would have went over and dumped my drink on them and blasted them for all to hear. Why do people feel it is necessary to be jerks?!
