My piggie is Multiple Orkazms (heh), the Hooters girl is Calamity Cutthroat and in the grup pic is Kaz, Massive Package, Hosa Down, Lisbeth Slammed'her and me! We took the HAM shots for Hit & Miss mag (H&M) because they sponsored us. It's a derby mag in Aus.

We are trying to start up junior derby but so far there isn't much interest. Most kids who are into sports already have saturdays booked out and it's a big outlay for gear for something most kids have never done before. It's a shame we don't have a rink in my area anymore, that would help loads. Many parents are too scared…

Bah! Totally forgot to add pics!

A friend shared this the other week on facebook. Lightning Strike'her from CKO in Australia. Hilarious!

The exact reason for the need to have enough water. The celluar function of your body is really important too.

Spend as much time as you can on your skates. Any time you can't spend on them, balance on one leg and do one leg squats. Squats in general will help. When you are skating, throw yourself in gung ho and try and make yourself fall over. Pushing your boundaries is awesome and it shows you where your natural balance is.

Lol feet together thighs apart. Just another fashion fad to drive people insane about being fat. As is pen test. I've seen pics of girls do this where they are painfully thin but because their spine doesn't touch the floor they don't pass the test because their stomach rises above the pen. I'm fat. I'm currently 90kg/198…

Most kinds of fish, mussels/oysters and egg whites. Particularly those that are still clear... Just the thought makes me feel very ill.

Skate-a-thon this year as a fundraiser for my roller derby league. Went the wrong way and ended up going down a spiral bike track from a bridge over a road to under the bridge. You can't stop well outside on skates so I flew under the bridge and tripped up on a huge crack between pavers. Kicked myself in the left upper…

Bah. It's lettuce, once it's all chewed it doesn't take up much room in the stomach and it's mostly water so it wont stay as bulk for long enough to 'stretch' the stomach. Is the volume making you feel ill or overfull? If not you aren't over eating. If you are enjoying the salads, keep eating them.
-
That has to be the biggest salad ever. I'd say as above. Individual ingredients. I stay away from the recipe ones on here as much as I can (unless I'm eating out and it's the closest thing) because they are never what I'm eating.

You should come to a skate practice then. Our feet are so messed up it's hilarious. Currently I have a blood blister under my big toenail and it can't decide if it wants to grow the nail out or lose it. I've got blisters under callouses and it's rad! Not to mention the smell... it's like a bag of fritos gone bad mixed with…

Yes. My mum's best friend is on here with me now. I'm very proud to do this journey with her. A few girls I know from derby are on here, some want to lose weight and others just want to get a better handle on their eating. Some people I have on facebook, school friends etc are here too now. Some of the above had MFP before…

I know! There are so many people I work with that are so shocked at the things I eat when we go out for breakfasts/morning teas/lunches for work meetings. I have 2 weeks to plan, we always get a menu beforehand (my team always have done this anyway to save time ordering so we can get on with the meeting) and I plug it in…

I have 3 rules. 1.Meet the calorie goal as best as I can with the best choices I can make. 2.Drink all the waters! 3.Don't get upset when I make a mistake.

Rachel thankyou for your input. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who is frustrated by these things IKR!!! Or when people compare me to someone they know that has done one of these idiot diets and they failed so I will automatically fail. I've done ALL those idiot diets and I know why not to do them. I know first hand they…

Thanks Ally! Even though I've had it pretty easy so far there have been a few ups and downs and I expect things to get harder. I guess because I've given myself room to make mistakes and know things wont be perfect. I am very hard on myself though.

It really does surprise me the amount of people who think weightloss and being healthy is so hard but they can't tell me a reason why they think that it's so. Most people haven't even tried to lose weight or know where they would start. I guess the media has a lot to answer for in the way of marketing weightloss products.…

Just stop.

So by saying this I can eat whatever as long as I avoid the Mickey D's? He I was thinking it was my huge servings of pasta and lunches from cafes... lol.

I've already bought my goal dress. When I get there I'm buying myself a diamond ring. To remind me that I'm worth the effort.

Mine was weird. I've always had an interest in eating disorders and will randomly search for info when I'm bored, amoung other topics. I was looking at pictures on instagram one day using hashtags. Lots of pictures of screen shots came up, I'd been playing around with my diet for 2 weeks and something sparked about using a…

Here here!! Losing weight and getting healthy is hard enough without the peanut gallery. I'm very defensive about the way I eat because it's working for the first time in my life and I'm not doing something insane and unattainable. I have never thought to myself 'Oh geez I can't wait to lose this 33kg so I can eat like a…

Replace. Let's face it, trying to kick a coping mechanism right now is going to send you off the deep end if you go cold turkey. So replace it. Keep celery and other crunchy veg (most snacks you're having would be crunchy and savoury I'm guessing) and raw nuts. If it's sweet things, keep different fruits around along with…

He can cook for himself then. Either before or after you are done with the family meal. He is capable and can clean up his own mess. He's an adult and can control what he eats that being said though if he isn't adult enough just to try and get over it then not your problem. My x was a picky eater and would complain if…

I have step kids who are 7, 6 and nearly 5. They can't cook their own but I do try my best to make a main dish that everyone can eat and then make sides my partner and I will eat and they can just have more of the main. If it contains things they don't like, I'll serve theirs and pick out as much as I can of the offending…

I've not had anyone on my friend's list say that to me, lucky or they'd be gone! All of us share the same outlook that this is a lifestyle change but life happens. Some days you'll be over, some days you'll be under. Sometimes you'll meet your calorie goal with wonderful food and sometimes not so much. It's learning about…

My partner does most of the 'treating' he's so lovely and it really inspires me to keep going as he notices. He's bought me some cute tops and a new pair of sports shoes to work out in. He was also very patient while I searched for a digital scale and hand weights the other day and carried them for me. So far it's just…
