ooh, and portabello mushrooms are VERY tasty on the grill! Marinate in something like fat free italian dressing for a few hours first.

:happy: You didn't mention these, but I love cutting zucchini into thick slices and then grilling them...yum! For an extra zip, sprinkle with some kind of seasoning. They do better if you brush them with oil to keep from sticking, but that ups the calories. :happy:

I think carob generally works best if you do a 50/50 with cocoa. :-) But it still takes some getting used to.

I'm [almost] 32 and was also diagnosed with PCOS. I'm excited for you that you're getting motivated now! I'm glad I'm working on it now, but I would love to have already been here 10 years ago...good for you!!! :wink:

I have about 110 pounds to lose [I'm 32]. I try to keep myself motivated by remembering that although 110 pounds feels so far away, time will still continue to tick away. I can spend those moments making healthy choices that culminate in me losing those pounds [hopefully most of it by next summer], or I can pysche myself…

Thanks to everyone for responding! I definitely want to get the fitbit in the near future, I think it will put less guess work into calculating how much I walked. :-) I was already bad today and ate waaaaay more than i should have, and food I had committed to not eating [and now I feel like crap]. So I need to get back on…

I just started, too. Just think where we'll be and how we'll look and feel in 3, 6, 9 months from now, etc.! Yay!!!
