Hi, I almost have 100 lbs to lose...I need to lose about 90 to get to what I consider a healthy weight which is 140 lbs (although doctors say I should weigh more like 125, that's probably never going to happen!). Please feel free to add me. :)

I understand where you are coming from! I think as we get older we have to rely less on what the scale says and more on how we feel and how our clothes fit. :)

I will be 41 on Sunday and in the past year the hot flashes, insomnia, night sweats, poor memory, and irregular periods have all started. Lately the insomnia has been the worst, hubby says he's ready to start drugging me at night just to see me get a full night's sleep.

on a daily basis I take a stress b vitamin, a low dose probiotic, and vitamin d. Probiotic because I was on long term antibiotics and at one point my good bacteria was completely wiped out because of it. Even now that I'm off the antibiotics I still have stomach pain if I don't take a daily probiotic pill. Vitamin D, I'm…

i'm newer here, only found this site ten days ago but love it so much. It's the tool I've been looking for to help me on the way!

I'm with you on this one! I really let myself go over the last few years after being healthy and fit for so many years before. I said to my friend yesterday, I don't want to be the older woman who has to use the scooter around the store because of how unfit I am. I'm more on a path to become as strong as I can be, weight…

I'm a complete book fanatic! Not sure I can list all my favorites...my favorite genres are mystery and dystopian novels. I love the Mr. Monk series, Janet Evanovich, Harry Potter Series, Dorothy Howell, Joanne Fluke, Joanna Carl, Hunger Games trilogy, and oh so much more!

Couldn't have said it better myself...exactly what I've been thinking as I've been reading all the replies! Surgery wouldn't be my choice but just because it's not what I'd want to do doesn't mean that you wanting the surgery is bad or wrong. I wish you the best of luck with this new journey happening in your life.

yep, my boobs go up and down with my weight. Was a 36C years ago, lost weight and went down to a 34B. Now I've gained about 80 lbs and went from the 34B up to a 40C. I'm sure as I lose weight much of it will be from my chest lol.

went for a 3 mile walk along the water and on trails...perfect New England weather for it today. :)

I will be 41 on Sunday...been on MFP for ten days now, used to be an avid food and exercise journal keeper and it always helped keep the weight down by being accountable. Glad to be back on the wagon! Feel free to add me. :)
