Banana + peanut butter = heaven on earth. Calorie deficit = weight loss Behold the power of math!

Yep, completely normal. The next day is sore, the day after the next is the worst :) After you get used to the routine, it just becomes a dull ache. Call me weird, but I have grown to like it.
-
Amazing indeed.

I like to work out on an empty stomach. I drink about a liter of water before and something carby and proteiny after. Its all personal preference. edit "I missed your "dont say empty stomach part" sorry ;) "

My family says the same thing, I am barely past the obese line... It's all up to what YOU want to be at.
-
Because cottage cheese is delicious? End of thread. But I have it for breakfast too..and lunch. Sometimes I like to eat cake before bed. I have no idea where I am going with this.

I'm pretty sure OP was a troll. I could be wrong, but I have more faith in humanity than that.
-
That is unpossible. You can't eat bread and lose weight...unless you are a witch! /insert Holy Grail reference here
-
Yeah, try to mix things up a bit. Just keep in mind that weight loss is not as linear as most would like it to be. Whatever you do, don't get frustrated and let it impede your long term goal. If you stick with it, it WILL come off.

Keep your protein intake high when you are losing weight. Combining that with lifting can keep the muscle loss to a minimum when at a calorie deficit. There isn't anything magical about protein shakes, but they are convenient.
-
This. Oh dang, you didn't want opinions, sorry I forgot.
-
Shakes are better IMO, but I would make my own bars if I felt it necessary, I usually eat real food after working out. My go to is a tuna salad sandwich which has around 25g of protein and around 350 calories.

Goat cheese is typically very potent in flavor, ergo you may use less than the cow cheese equivalent. However sheep cheese (monchego) > then all. <3 cheese so much..

This.

But it's the rude people that keep me entertained here. Nice is boring. /popcorn

Yo. Took me about 3 months. BUT I have twice as much to lose and that makes all the difference. If 35 pounds gets you to a healthy weight then it will probably take longer. We will see how long it takes me to lose ANOTHER 35 pounds... I would guess 6-8 months for me.

Dry brush before a shower in the morning and Palmers before bed. It makes quite a difference (for me anyway)

My man boobs are huge, but stomach wins!

Most people pack on the weight during the Holidays due to 2 months of overeating, not a single day or two of gluttony. Its the cookies, cakes, fudge etc that is hanging around the office for weeks on end that do the real damage. Eat on turkey day and don't worry about it.

So you don't think a doctor is worth paying a premium for if they are good at what they do? God forbid they can afford a better life because they worked their butt off for 20 years or more. Show me an ER that turns away people that can't afford care. Please.

I top my veggie burgers with bacon sometimes, no joke. I'm not a vegetarian and I like my chickpea burgers and I like my bacon.
-
Chicken breast and fish are your protein friends.
-
No no.. she was just trying to help other people out. OK sorry, sarcasm mode off now :)
-
Dude..its backed by SCIENCE. Don't be hatin.

A spoon?
-
Why fat free? I get the whole milk Oikos stuff. Add a spoon full of strawberry preserves and its almost a meal. Should be around 215 calories per cup vs 160ish for the fat free stuff. Bonus: It doesn't taste like chalk ;)
-
Guilty as charged.

That is one reason I just rent movies at home. I love my air popper =). Popcorn itself is really a pretty healthy snack, its just all the oil and salt they pop with it that packs on the calories/sodium.
