  • definitely look for a hybrid type bike as others suggested if you plan to do both types of rides. you give up a little each way, but it does provide more versatility. any good bike shops near you?
  • Started Phase 2 week 3 (week 7 in total) today with Chest, Shoulders & Tri's with some AbRipperX thrown in for fun. Succumbed to my weakness for craft beers on Saturday and had a few Double / Imperial IPAs that are high in alcohol and are calorie bombs. Oh well, time to get back on the wagon...
  • I am thinking doing Legs & Back /Abs today after doing Plyo yesterday was not a good idea. Legs are screaming!
  • the only way i've see people, including myself, track p90x workouts is logging it as cardio with the calories burned from your heart rate monitor. create an exercise (i have created about 10 of them) and log it.
  • Just posted this elsewhere, but I thought it is worth sharing with my fellow p90x'ers. I started taking my apple cider yesterday and we'll see what it does === From the Cleveland Clinic Daily Wellness Tip: A daily dose of vinegar helps get rid of body fat. Want to rev up your body’s fat-burning engine? Add a couple of…

  • I prefer the "Flat Out" multigrain wraps...should be located near the bread in your grocer. I buy the 3-pack at Costco if you are a member there.
  • Week 4, Day 1 complete. Didn't make it up this morning for my usual 6am workout, but had my morning open up with a cancelled meeting so I took an early lunch and punched out Chest Shoulders Tris. Supplemented my weekend workout with a bunch of yard work and a nice bike ride. Cheated a bit for Mother's Day dinner but I…

  • So I just returned from my visit to my Sports Nutritionist...results thru (almost) week 5 show a 15 lb. loss. Some other measurements (waist, hips) were taken by the fitness center close to when I started so I will be curious to see those when I am done around day 90. Keep pressin' play!

  • it's my "down" week so I went to the gym this morning to do a circuit training class that i did previous to p90x. it's a mix of aerobics, plyometrics, and weights so it fits right in with p90x. it's non-stop action and burns a lot of calories...not sure i would have been used to the rigor of p90x without doing this type of…

  • Finished week 2 Chest & Back this morning. Down 5 lbs since beginning so that's encouraging... Went to do my standard push-ups at the beginning and had a sharp pain down my left side from my lat to my hip....well that's that good. did a few of those, but had to do modified push-ups the rest of the way. kind of a bummer but…
